The Red Deer - Sheffield - Photo album

A very cosy and inviting pub. Great service and good value. A good selection of drinks, and very well cooked food at a competitive price. The chips are the best I have ever tasted. I was spoilt for choice when looking through the menu, and there is something for all dietary requirements.
Just popped in for a quick drink during an overnight stop in Sheffield. Had a lovely pint of Stout which was a new one to me - I'd definetly have it again if I'm lucky enough to stumble across it. Service was good. The pub was very busy with people eating and drinking - the menu was good and a go
Had a lovely Christmas dinner for two on Saturday. Highly recommend! The staff were really attentive too.
Fantastic food, no complaints at all! They have a great selection of beers, staff are friendly.
This little pub has been well known for years if you like great beers and a great atmosphere. With real open fires to give you a warm cosy Christmas feeling along with great staff food and drinks this pub buzzes. The only problem with writing this review is I may find it difficult to get a seat in h
Love the red deer. Particularly big fan of the vegan fish and chips 😋 and the deep fried pickles. Regular rotation and wide selection of real ale and other drinks. Also, good selection of gluten free food.
Went to a works Christmas dinner. Great food, impressive for a pub. Good, friendly atmosphere and nice staff. Wide range of beers etc.
Had a great time at the pub quiz. Really interactive and great hosts. Drinks are cheap. Didn't have the food but my friends enjoyed their meals
In the Sheffield Heritage pub guide. A minute walk from the main road. Sadly apart from a few AFC Wimbledon fans it was us and one local. The pub is up for lease. Hope it survives. Had a lovely pint of Adnams Broadside.
Great pub. I met some friends here pre Xmas. The ales are delicious. We played one of the games they have here for all to play
Nice place for a drink with some good choices of beer and cider
The place is nice inside, the bartender gave me free tap water too very kindly no fuss.
The Red Deer, tucked away on a side street, is a traditional British pub. There is a great range of real ales available, as well as hearty pub food, a regular quiz and beer garden. Service is friendly and the Red Deer offers a CAMRA discount.
Traditional pub run by a lovely family. BRILLIANT FOOD and wide range of beer. Our family & friends party booked the upstairs room which was old-fashioned tables and seats set-up, clean but could do with redecoration. Please support traditional pubs, they are at risk from city development vultures a
Brilliant real pub in the heart of the city. Food is good, ales are good, staff are great and Tuesday nights pub quiz is brilliant!
First time visiting, great food and service and the team I was in won the quiz.
A great real ale pub, large range of ales. Food is above average quality and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Hidden away on a side street this pub is well worth seeking out. Real fires and period decoration, also do brilliant coffee. Enjoy. M
Fantastic open mic on a thursday with a super selection of real ale and unpronounceable german ones too! Supports local musicians by letting them put their posters up! I'm just starting to scratch the surface with this place! Loving it so far! (must try their food!)
