First time here tonight having travelled up from Winchester for a family visit. Amazing place, delicious food and friendly and welcoming staff. I've seen reviews saying it's the best Italian in Sheffield. I think it's probably the best Italian anywhere! X
Once again everything about the night was excellent. From our arrival to going home we were made really welcome. The front of house staff Ferdi/Ruben and the young waiter were all very excellent at their jobs and the food was great. I can recommend the small and very well run restaurant.
Went last night for a family celebration. There were 13 of us and not one of us had a bad meal. Quite the contrary,....the food was amazing. My husbands steak was terrific and my pasta Fantasia was the best pasta dish I have had in a very long time. My niece had the chicken which she thought was gorgeous and my other niece had seafood spaghetti that had so many mussels in it that the waiter had to replace the plate that she used for the empty shells! My sister said her lasagna was the best she had had in any restaurant. I think between us we sampled a wide range of dishes and they know their stuff on every front!
The staff were friendly and accommodating and the service was as excellent as the food....the atmosphere was great and they were very busy, I am pleased to see that it is successful as I hope it will remain open for many years to come!..a definite 5 stars from us!
Food is always great, and atmosphere lively. Shame Ferdinando wasn’t there, he is charm personified! Unlike the new waiter who is a tad on the strange side! Wish Ruben would come back, but still a fabulous place to have a romantic meal, a get together with friends or a celebration party ���!���
Had a great meal, service as usual superb. Staff miss nothing and the food was fantastic. This place never fails to disappoint. The atmosphere is so friendly and accommodating, great place to eat.
Gorgus meal just visited husbands birthday we’ve visited lots of Italians and never realised the best was on our doorstep great service tasty food definitely be back ��
Everything from stepping in to stepping out was first class the best Italian meal I’ve had this side of the Mediterranean definitely going back �
Always a great welcome awaits with great food and service with a little banter with the staff always makes for a great evening or lunch .....
Great food & atmosphere & the staff are very accommodating. The last two times I visited they made me a vegetarian sauce to accompany pasta & were more than obliging in adapting the Risotto to a vegetarian dish too. Prices are very reasonable and they operate a BYO wine policy.
Franck and I went yesterday(Sunday) to celebrate our good fortune week...I had lasagne, he had the oxtail, both beautifully cooked and delightful...Marcus our waiter is fantastic and can explain all of the menu if you have any questions...he's a top lad..Ferdinando is there to greet and chat and make you most welcome..we had a pleasant and relaxed time...this was my 2nd visit, roll on the 3rd...thankyou thankyou thankyou....
Thank you for making my daughters birthday special and for calling us about the accidental large tip. Lovely evening and as usual we really enjoyed the food and hospitality.

I'm from Italian descent and the food is authentic, great atmosphere , the staff are so nice and make you feel so welcome . You must visit this lovely little bit of Italy you'll not be disappointed

Excellent as always. BYO wine - Mitchells next door has great selection. One of the best in Sheffield and def the best tomato garlic bread in town!
Beautiful afternoon the restaurant provided another fantastic meal experience for us. We were lucky to secure a table in the afternoon, especially after the challenging week we’ve had . The fresh food and fantastic service truly made us feel welcome. I highly recommend trying out this restaurant.thank you xx

Visit at Fernando's Eatalian restaurant with my Wife for our 25th wedding anniversary.. The food is absolutely delicious. We did not waste our food. Very friendly staff. Excellent service. Will recommend to someone. N we'll be back again in the future. Many thanks 😉👍
Just popped in tonight off the cuff with no booking, the place was busy, the staff were very welcoming, the food and service turned out to be excellent, and the 10oz fillet was cooked perfectly... I would highly recommend a visit. ❤️
Had a lovely meal here tonight with friends. Waiter very friendly and attentive but not overly over our shoulders. Food well worth the money.
We visited for the valentines set menu last night and everything was perfect. The food was amazing and even with it being a set menu I was able to change one of the options slightly which was appreciated. The service was brilliant with friendly and accommodating waiters. There was a great atmosphere, and we really enjoyed our meal. Will definitely be visiting again.
We’ve been twice now and the food, staff & atmosphere is truly the best.
First visit was just my husband and myself, 2nd visit was with some family members and it was perfect for everyone.
The staff go above & behind to make you feel so comfortable and enjoyable.

I would just like to say what a great afternoon me and my family had with the new owners at Ferdinando's today. I don’t normally do reviews but having a small business myself I thought it was justified.
It was busy at 4pm on a Sunday but the staff were swift and the food very fresh.
We asked for some chips for my son as it was around his tea time when we walked in and they came very quickly which left us with a near silent dinner experience from our hungry son.
Food was so fresh and service spot on with the waiters making a fuss over my son.
Lobster ravioli was very nice along with lamb ragu our favourite dishes.
A little gem for Norton. Well done, and see you very soon.
Ferdinando’s is a traditional Italian restaurant now under new management with really nice owners.
Marco the fantastic head waiter is very accommodating, looking after everyone and making sure everyone is happy.
Food is as lovely as always, very fresh and cooked to order with a varied menu.
Vegetarian options available and the chef will help make slight changes to the menu and accommodate certain dietary needs if possible.
Thank you team for keeping this lovely restaurant open and providing good food with a great atmosphere.
