Fantastic food, fantastic ambiance and fantastic staff! 5* most certainly. We really enjoyed the 5* approach to everything this restaurant has to offer. Unique menu, fresh food and the complimentary drinks were a cherry on top. Thank you to Nash and the team at Lavang, we had a great night and will most certainly be back again.
Celebrated my birthday here, i/we enjoyed every minute of the service and the loveliness off staff. The food was to die for. Will be visiting again soon without a doubt, thankyou Lavang!
The very best in Asian fine dining, at least that’s our opinion. We spent Valentine’s night here and cannot praise the place enough. We will be back!

First class service from the moment you walk through the door. From the smiling and attentive waitresses, engaging floor managers and thoughtful head chef who came out to check our food was to our satisfaction (food was amazing by the way). Nash, the charming front-of-house manager, provided impeccable service with a genuine smile, enhancing the overall dining experience. Lavang sets the bar high for exceptional food, atmosphere, and hospitality in the realm of Asian fusion cuisine.
Absolutely sensational food. One of the best Indians I have ever eaten. From the pickle tray to the deserts, everything works beautifully and it’s topped off by sensational service. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience fine dining Indian food at a very reasonable price!
Lavang is a gem! I've eaten at most of the main Indian restaurants in Sheffield and the food doesn't get much better than here - my personal favourite is the lamb biryani. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the service has always been faultless. The atmosphere leans towards finer dining, which aligns well with the quality of food and service. 5 stars - would recommend!

The most beautiful and amazing Asian fine dining experience. It's like being in the Goldilocks zone, as everything is just right and on point.
The menu isn't huge, which allows Lavang to focus on what they do well, producing interesting dishes that you may not often find elsewhere. Their passion is evident from start to finish. Friendly and welcoming staff, who know just when to be there when you need them, yet giving you space to enjoy your experience.
The restaurant doesn't have too many tables, and they're spaced out, so you don't feel cramped by the surroundings. The atmosphere is calm and the decor beautiful.
After our basket of poppodum and chutney, my friends and I had Railway Prawns and Samundar Squid to start. The presentation was superb, with just the right size portion to tease the palate without overfilling us before main course.
I had Rogan for my main, while the others ate Lamb Nawab. We each shared a little of our dishes to share our experiences. Both the goat and lamb were sublime, with delicate and subtle spices that enhanced the flavours without overpowering the meats and sauce. The classic and honey breads were light and fluffy, with a finger bowl provided to prevent our hands getting sticky from the honey.
Dessert was Spiced Rum Gulab Jamun and Eton Mess. Both were light with plenty more subtle flavours.
Drinks were a few pints of Cobra, some malt whisky and a taste of Lavang's own spiced rum and ice, which was a delicate and beautiful drink.
The bill came to around the £200 mark for the three of us. By some standards, this may seem expensive. Factoring in the quality of the amazing food, the atmosphere, the friendly and on point staff, the passion Lavang demonstrate at what they do, and the welcome we received, I feel that it was excellent value for money. Hope to return before too long.

Amazing place! I had a lovely meal in this restaurant with my family for my husband's 30th. Flavourful food with high quality service. The only thing is that they should give the finger bowl to clean their hands. I definitely recommend this place.
Always a delight coming to Lavang. From the moment you walk in you’re welcome and made to feel you belong. The restaurant is always stunning, spacious but also very intimate.
All staff were above and beyond, and the food we received was exceptional as always. Asked the server for suggestions between two dishes and his opinion came through. Thoroughly enjoyed all.

We came here on a whim after seeing other positive reviews and I'm glad we did.
We had the lamb chops, paneer, crispy onions, crispy bindi and main with naga chilli. Everything was delicious and the spice was flavourful rather than just hot.
Super friendly and attentive staff really sealed the deal on a great night.

I've often driven by and wanted to try this restaurant, well I finally did at the weekend and wasn't disappointed. Ate delicious food, beautifully presented and with excellent service. My husband and I would happily return.

We hired Lavang Private Diners Club to cater for our wedding in Cheshire. They are absolutely fantastic. Great communication before the event. The bride is a vegan and so we asked Lavang to produce a vegetarian banquet - it exceeded all expectations. Brilliant food and great service. Our 60+ guests were very happy too (including kids). We chose Lavang after they provided catering for a friend's wedding and was very impressed then too.
Having been to the restaurant to taste the food prior to booking, I can confirm the restaurant is fantastic.
Next time we are in Sheffield we will be coming back for more. Cheers guys.
Amazing Restaurant, nothing was too much trouble ,staff were very friendly and looked after us..Food was amazing, its not cheap but we think it was well worth it as the food all tasted amazing. The only thing that would make it amazing is if they gave either warm wipes or water to clean hands.
I travelled from Coventry to this restaurant after seeing the great reviews and it honestly did not disappoint. The service was exceptional especially from Abul who welcomed me and my partner with a big smile even though we were quite late for our booking. We had a lovely valentines meal, the food was delicious. I will definitely come back again! ✨
