Oh my goodness! Sunday lunch was an absolute delight! Mark and all staff were amazing the service was spot on! The half rotisserie chicken Sunday lunch was the best we have had in ages! They even do a doggie Sunday lunch ���� thanks team we will be back! Xxx

Had a lovely meal last night. There were 11 of us and they did a great job, taking our orders and serving us. I didn’t realise that they had a great vegetarian selection. Will definitely be returning with our dog Bella who can have a doggie dinner � �
Lovely burger and good value for money. My Aunty had the hoi sin duck flatbread which I need to go back for along with the delicious rhubarb gin!
Absolutely delectable food, fabulously attentive and knowledgeable service, good atmosphere, and great menu, can't wait to come here again! Thank you so much to Jack and his team for a wonderful experience-first meal out with our 6day old son and family. No problem at all for them to accommodate a wait on my food when baby awoke for a feed. Definitely recommend.

Just had a fantastic family meal from the specials menu at the Castle Inn. The service was great and the food was delicious. We have been before and will be going again. The pub is friendly and welcoming and the Management are always attentive and informative on forthcoming menu's. I would recommend this pub.
My partner and I had a wonderful evening meal at the Castle Inn. This was our first time and we was not disappointed and I would fully recommend. Great food and the staff was very nice and helpful
Attended for lunch on Mothering Sunday 3 adults and 2 doggies, the Castle Inn was very busy. We placed orders for starters and main course, starters arrived very quickly but it was then nearly 40 minutes for our main course to arrive. It was quite difficult to attract staff attention, I feel that being Mother's Day perhaps was a mitigating circumstance for the long delay, the food had good flavour and well presented.
1st visit for us and we pre booked last minute for NYE as struggled to get elsewhere. They managed to get us in and we are so glad they did!!! Amazing tasty food, great drinks/wine, ambience and service. All for a reasonable price too! I am so glad we found this pub, it will 100% be in the top of our list of go-tos and we will absolutely returning! Thank you!
Excellent seafood menu, the Indian coley was delicious and the burgers went down extremely well. Friendly staff. Dog and child friendly too. Plenty of car parking. Will certainly dine there again
A traditional pub with a fab menu offering great size tasty meals that don't disappoint. At the weekend I opted for the goats cheese salad (with a side of the TASTIEST onion rings - ive tried a few!). Others in my group had ceasar salad, burger and flatbread and everyone commented on what great food it was. Pleasant staff too make this one to return to.
We had a lovely meal here! Both the kids menu and the regular menu have lots of good traditional pub foods with some amazing pasta dishes. The Caesar salad was the best I've had, with lovely thick anchovies and a good amount of crispy bacon. Booking recommended for weekend lunches. The staff had very sensibly placed our table and another with a high chair close to the till and bar area, which hopefully meant that noise from our toddler didn't travel so much towards other diners.

Bit quiet but was midweek and were in the smaller room. Just had a drink and was warm and traditional. Nice pub. Nice location. Will go back and try the food as looks good.
We booked this for a meal after a funeral. I was so pleased that despite numbers in double figures we were not asked to pre -order,something that would have been inappropriate for such an occasion.
The whole atmosphere was relaxed the food was lovely and importantly all plates arrived at the same time. Staff calm and friendly. All in all.Excellent and thank you.
I must say , I booked my wife's birthday due there and nothing was at fault, food was amazing, top service, and just the general ambiance around the place, 10 out of 10 , thank you pawel and Emily, also the other young lady working with the team, obviously to the kitchen team. Fantastic.
Great food and plenty of outdoor seating with tables over half of the car park. They apologised for waiting times and being understaffed but we didn’t perceive any problems and we enjoyed our meal. Looking forward to going back soon.
Lovely food & service, as always. Be careful not to over order. The portions are big! All fresh & home made. The kitchens are open, so you can see what's happening.

Nice pub that's popular with locals and serves decent food.
Visited for dinner with family. Specials menu has so many great options it was hard to choose, including Moroccan lamb shank; Monkfish and mussels in Thai green curry sauce; Greek platter; Seafood linguini; Ribs with mac n cheese...
Friendly service, though on a Saturday night the food was a little slow to arrive but no complaint, we enjoyed the evening.
