I organised an afternoon tea deal for myself and 2 friends for my friends birthday. I contacted to book via Facebook and they responded straight away. The food was lovely, nice presentation, staff were very friendly and the rhubarb tea was also delicious. They also catered the top tier to be chocolate free due to allergies. My friend also received a free birthday cocktail, i think this was a really nice touch and made her feel special. I would definitely recommend this place and i will visit again.

Reunion of old friends came together to meet after too many years. Couldn't think of a better venue to discuss old times over good food and wine. I had the best cooked scallops I've ever had for a starter followed by lamb for a main course that simply melted in my mouth. The venue was fantastic surrounded by good people enjoying great food. The staff were simply amazing and couldn't do enough for us providing great customer service so rare to find these days. Fantastic restaurant, highly recommended and will return.

We took the opportunity to try out the new Sunday Lunch offering at Silversmiths today and it was fantastic! From the warm welcome to the coffee and everything in between was on point. I ate and drank the following and really enjoyed every bite and sip: Gin and prosecco based cocktail with pear and apple juices. Freshly baked focaccia with herb oil. Grilled Halloumi on a tasty beetroot salad. Sauvignon Blanc. Perfectly cooked beef with Yorkshire Puddings and all the trimmings. Chocolate Mousse with Henderson's Cinder Toffee. Decaffeinated Cappuccino. We'll be back!

I can’t wait to return to Silversmiths. Delicious, beautifully cooked food, good wine choices and attentive service. The decor creates a relaxed yet stylish environment for lunch. Somewhere I won’t hesitate to recommend to others. Thank you.

Came today for Mother’s Day and despite what is no doubt one of their busiest days of the year, there was no let up in food quality or service. I’d highly recommend

Went last night for our first visit having seen some excellent reports eg Telegraph article. Not disappointed in any way! Very good service and excellent meal. Price was fair for this type of restaurant and the quality of food and service much better than many similar restaurants. Well worth a visit- we travelled 30 miles to take a look and will certainly return.

We were there as a family yesterday celebrating my granddaughters 21st....the staff made us very welcome the service was good and over all we had a good time.. we weren't rushed and they made a fuss of the birthday girl... needless to say the food was excellent.. roast beef recommended!!! We were all so impressed we have booked for my granddaughters graduation meal....wish we had found this restaurant 3yrs ago when she started her degree!!

Had a lovely meal for husbands birthday. Service was a little slow in places but staff made up with it with free drinks. Fillet steak was spot on and in fact all meals were lovely! Definitely go again.

A hidden gem in Sheffield City Centre

Always have excellent food here. Super, friendly & professional service. It's nice to have an independent good quality restaurant in the city centre, slightly off the main area but this is what makes it ideal. They also do a fabulous pre theatre menu-highly recommended.

If you're heading to Silversmiths, the likelihood is you're going for pie night. And whilst it's not going to be cheap for Sheffield, you're going to have an amazing pie no matter what filing you have. Deeeelightful.

On a delightful Sunday, we decided to visit a local restaurant renowned for its Sunday lunch offerings. The experience was nothing short of remarkable. The food, a splendid showcase of both quality and value, exceeded our expectations. Every dish served was a testament to the chef's prowess in blending traditional flavours with a modern twist, ensuring a memorable culinary journey for all. The staff at this establishment were the icing on the cake. Their friendly demeanour and swift service added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. They were attentive without being intrusive, striking the perfect balance that allowed us to savour our meal in comfort. It's rare to find a place that hits all the right notes like this one did. For anyone looking for an exceptional Sunday lunch that doesn't break the bank but delivers immensely on taste and experience, this restaurant comes highly recommended. It's a gem that undoubtedly deserves a visit, promising an experience that will linger on your taste buds and memories alike.

Food was all absolutely fantastic and beautifully presented. Portions were impressive and I was astonished at the price point being so accessible. The service was also top-notch, the staff genuinely seemed to care and were warm and friendly. The atmosphere was also brilliant, the decor is lovely and they have a bookable room for private functions seating 14 - definitely keeping that in mind for my future meetings and celebrations! We had plenty of food and we even took one of our sides home with us as we were filling up quickly. I'm not huge on desserts but the jelly and ice cream I had was perfection, a very modern take on a childhood classic. I highly recommend visiting, definitely within the upper end of my Sheffield tierlist.

Attended on Saturday 11th May with 7 others for the bottomless brunch. We were booked in for 12:00 which at the time of booking seemed quite early. It probably still was as we were the first in. We arrived just before and was promptly shown to our table. First drinks order taken dead on 12:00 and by 12:10 the first one had gone and we were ready for another. Great choice of drinks and the food was absolutely gorgeous. Quality, quantity, taste and presentation 10/10. The food was preordered and came 20 minutes after we arrived. I now understand why we could only get in at 12:00. By the time we came to leave the place was full. Quite strict with having one drink at a time (no “double parking”) which I totally get. The waitresses would take another drinks order if you were reaching the bottom of your current drink. Was great to have the 15 minutes reminder as we were nearing the end of our time slot. Great drinks, food and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

The mid week menu at Silversmiths was ideal - 5 or 6 choices for each course and all at reasonable prices. The food itself was tasty and delicious, with a wonderful Asian fusion. The portion sizes were very good too. It is unusual for us to order three courses as we get full after two. But we had room for a pudding, which was great as I got to sample the best rice pudding I have ever had. The service was brilliant and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We can’t wait to return and sample more. My wife took photos of her food - Pork tenderloin with dauphinoise potatoes followed by chocolate delice with orange ice cream.

Nearly perfect. Thought the beef tartar was bland and underseasoned and the Korean burger quite wet so definitely knife and fork job. Cheese desert lovely.

My friends and I had a great meal here the other evening and absolutely loved this cute, cozy restaurant. Between the food, drinks and service, we were all very impressed. The food quality was fantastic : there was a great range of things, even on the set menus they provided and there was something to suit everyone's taste. The drinks were also well made and had lovely flavours to them. The service was fantastic as well and our servers throughout the evening were helpful and great at recommending dishes. The only downside for us was the sticky toffee pudding, as we all ordered it thinking it would be out of this world and it wasn't warm (which made it taste a bit dry). Overall though, I would definitely return.

My husband and I visited Silversmiths, a few months after our daughter was born and it was the amazing ‘night off’ we both needed. The food, drinks and staff were outstanding. The staff serving us couldn’t be more helpful, knowing the menu well and offering recommendations when requested (by my indecisive self). The staff went above and beyond and were able to make a drink on the menu with alternate flavourings when asked and it was no problem at all. The food was delicious, and we will definitely be returning (when we get another night off)

We had a wonderful time at Silversmiths on Saturday, the staff are fantastic and the food was delicious. Our only feedback would be the choice of cocktails were not our ‘cup of tea’ but that is purely personal preference. The bonus was that we could have a spirit and mixer as an alternative which you don’t get in many other venues. Overall, a great experience and one I would happily repeat and recommend to family and friends.

My wife and I visited Silversmiths for an evening meal. I've got to say the food was amazing, the atmosphere was great and very friendly but I can't rate the service high enough. The servers couldn't have been better. After the meal, we thought we'd enjoy a cocktail... the one I wanted (a manhattan) wasn't on the menu, so they goggled it and made it for me. Honestly, if in the area I would highly recommend.

Went for a meal here on Friday with my mum and it was exceptional. All the staff were fantastic and incredibly welcoming and helpful. The food was delicious and incredibly fairly priced for how nice it was. The menu selection was perfectly curated and I look forward to returning to try future menus. I would highly recommend it (and I rarely leave reviews for places).

Superb experience for my mum for her birthday. We experienced their tasting menu which was 4 course and an intermission which was an incredibly culinary experience. The service by all the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable and the atmosphere throughout the evening was delightful.

Went there for Sunday Roast, the place has nice decor and a sufficient menu choice. Food was good and presented well. The best experience for us there were the servers. Very tentative and good product knowledge. Overall great experience.

First time for me and my wife we loved the restaurant's lovely environment! Food and presentation of the food was brilliant. The staff were friendly and also great at making cocktails! I think it's great value for money. I think most restaurants now are charging mains prices for starters whereas £5 is something brilliant and it's a good amount. We will be returning and I'll be telling people to go, we will return for the Sunday dinner next time. Thanks

We came here for Sunday lunch before we went to see a show. There is only 3 rose wines on the menu - 1 was a dry wine and available, 1 was sold out and the other was only sold by the bottle. I only drink sweet rose and the manager was so helpful in letting my try a few white wines to find the sweetest one. Our starter was the beef - which was lovely but not particularly hot. Our main was roast beef. The beef was delicious, the potatoes tasted a little stale but overall it was nice. I choose the warm Brie for desert which was lovely but the bread was literally a slice of standard white toast?! My partner had a cake jelly combo and the cake was rock hard and stale. Overall our meal was okay. The family next to us complained there’s was inedible and there was another couple in the restaurant who also complained. It felt as if the staff were all brand new apart from the manager. They were all very friendly - just not very informed. I can’t say I’d re-visit which is a shame as the venue is lovely.
