There arn't many restaurants that I've been to that I can honestly say it's been 100% faultless from start to finish but on our anniversary it was spot on from start to finish from being greeted at the entrance to paying the bill at the end, the menu was the rare treat at £26.50 for 3 courses but they had a special on which you could change too and we are very pleased we did, prawns and soup for starters then a rack of lamb each and then a trio of cheesecakes to finish.

It was our first time to eat here but was just blown away by the service and the kindness of the staff especially Jarka. What a lovely meal we had too. The steaks were magnificent! Everything served was tasty and delicious. I would definitely recommend butcher’s block! We all enjoyed our food! Thank you!
Visited with family on a weekday lunchtime so restaurant was fairly quiet. We all ordered from the lunchtime menu which was amazing value for money. Food was gorgeous and beautifully presented and our waitress was lovely, very helpful and attentive. Excellent food, and service. Would highly recommend

Never been, came in today for the lunch set menu. Absolutely spot on. CJay our server was very friendly.

The front of house team member looking after us-Olivia, was absolutely spot on! She came to our table and introduced herself really nicely - felt like being in a local independent restaurant rather than a chain. Felt local and personal. Her rapport building was great, went through the menu- explained the little details well like - seasoning of your choice. Sometimes you feel like you just have to choose quickly under pressure but this was very relaxed. The food was delicious for all three of us that ate. We got a starter mains and dessert for around £60ish in total.
Olivia went above and beyond making sure we could get a dessert and pay before we had to make a dash in a very short space of time. A very accommodating attitude to hospitality. If I didn't live so far away I would be back and the experience definitely makes miller and carter a firm choice the next time I'm in Sheffield.
It's disappointing to see a sign at the front about refraining from verbal abuse to staff. Seems to have got so much worse in every sector since Covid. I don't know what's wrong with people! Anyway, the energy of the team here was spot on and I hope nothing crushes your spirit Olivia! Best of luck with your new start in Sheffield :)

Our favourite steakhouse, had a good service and never got disappointed with the steak, spent a night out with family and friends again
Had our anniversary meal here and it was sublime! The atmosphere was nice and private with minimal noise around us. The food was slightly more expensive than I would have liked but going on a special occasion made it more reasonable. The flavours were great as well. Only shame was the starter was really small but the presentation is quality
You need to be somewhat dress up ( smart casual).
Will be returning for special occasions
The only downside is they were out of lobster tails but the food was delicious and the service was top tier.
