I just want to say that this was my first time that i had been to La Scala last night for my Sister In Laws Birthday and i must say that if you really like Italian Food then i highly recommend that you go and try the food out at La Scala i really can't fault the food it was really spot on everything about the food was just really really nice but it is one of those Restaurants were you would book a table if it was a special occasion but i still highly recommend it to you all...

Really lovely meal here with my husband last weekend for my birthday! We've visited before with our two daughters and never been disappointed. The service was very good and the prices are extremely reasonable.. We will definitely be back!
Wonderful meal with my aunt and uncle. Made to feel very welcome by the owner. Genuine home cooked, fresh Italian food paired with a good choice of wines. Great professional service too from the lovely waitress. Easy parking round the back and a nice choice of meat free options. We had 3 courses each - all delicious and all promptly served!
Husband and I had our anniversary dinner here. Excellent food, fresh ingredients. Excellent service. We also chatted with the owner - that was terrific too! I would definitely come back.
First impressions of this establishment were truly impressive. Stunning and unusual decor of this small and a little crammed Italian restaurant. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating despite the business of the restaurant. And food... well... what can I say?? Outstanding!! The risotto Scala was to die for as well as the tiramisu dessert which would melt in your mouth... totally recommend and I also have to say that it is great value for money.

This was an extremely vibrant experience, especially for Valentine’s Day. A great atmosphere, lovely staff and amazing food! I would definitely recommend this for anyone (and definitely couples) as it is quaint, cosy, and a comforting atmosphere!
Came to La Scala with a group of my friends and it was a lovely experience. Ordered many different pizzas that we all shared and they were so delicious. Staff were so friendly and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely and will definitely visit again.

Amazing place we just discovered! Went there on a Monday night and the experience was fantastic! Great service and amazing food! Really good price too. Asked to take the leftovers home (because they are really big portions) but they we're thrown away by mistake. Manager went out of his way to explain and said the chef was cooking me freshly portion to take home. How amazing is that? I said that wasn't necessary because a mistake can be made and he assured me that it was no trouble at all. Really happy with that and the service. We will be back for sure! You should definitely try it!

It’s a dilemma! Do we keep quiet about the warm welcome, great choices of menu, the friendly, welcoming atmosphere, staff who were all of the same friendly and welcoming manner, the excellent food and drink, in the hope that it doesn’t get too busy so we can always get in.
Or be totally honest and say we enjoyed immensely everything about our meal out at La Scala from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Obviously the latter!
A real pleasure to eat there, the food was cooked perfectly and delicious, and accompanied by wine from a list that was obviously created to compliment the menu.
Staff were polite, friendly, attentive and nothing too much trouble. Chatted with the owner for a while after the meal, it’s easy to see where the ethos and atmosphere of the place is generated from.
Our only gripe - that we should have found it years ago!!

Not been for a while but must say we've missed it, brought the children for the youngest ones birthday and it was as good as ever, kids had pizza, proper Italian style!
Wife had lasagne and I had the creamy
chicken tagliatelle, then ice cream with a candle for birthday boy
Great friendly service as per usual, very well looked after
Will be back soon, opens at 5.30 now perfect time for the kids, then home for bedtime
What a lovely evening in La Scala Restaurant for my partner's birthday.
Faultless from start to finish. Warm greeting, friendly, professional staff. Service was great, really took the time to find out how I wanted my food (and I'm very picky😊). Food was delicious, I had lamb, my partner had Tagliatelle al Pollo. The Tiramisu was very light and fluffy. Finished off with a tasty Espresso Martini.
Will definitely go again and no hesitation in recommending.

A very cosy restaurant. The service can be a little slow, and the food is good, but not great.
Fantastic Italian cuisine. I've dined at numerous Mitchell Star restaurants and this is on par with them all. Very child friendly & the staff are consumate professionals who accomadate you're every need. I would definitely dine here again & recommend the restaurant to everyone who appreciates fine dinning.
Had my daughter's 16th meal here. And all I can say is nobody out of a party of 15 were disappointed. First of all the staff were brilliant friendly probably the nicest staff I have ever come across in a restaurant. All the food was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent from time we arrived to time we left. Can't thank them enough for our night.
