Fat Cat - Sheffield - Photo album

Made my first visit to this pub in February 2024 after hearing so much about it for many years. One of the main recommendations was based on the choice of beers but, being coeliac, I wasn't sure if it would be suitable. However, I was very pleased when I was offered a list of gluten free beers to ch
Excellent pub with large selection of local beers, including from the brewery next door. Great value roasts served on Sundays and local pork pies to buy at the bar. What not to like. Nice garden.
This place is a good choice for people who prefer to sit outside because they have a cute garden with covered benches and tables. During weekends there is also a bar open outside.
Just popped in for a quick drink. Very traditional feel in the compact bar, with its dark wood-framed floor to ceiling surround, probably been here as a building serving menfolk who spilled out of the industrial works in this area in the preceding century or so. Now an independent (read as Kelham Is
I called in for a few pints as I had heard the beer garden was lovely on a sunny afternoon, and I wasn't disappointed. Really quiet and relaxing and interesting surroundings, I'm looking forward to coming back to try the food and nightlife which also sounds promising.
The Fat Cat has a long and distinguished history as a cask ale pub. And it is indeed THE best cask ale pub in Sheffield! Great staff, great selection of beers, great atmosphere, and a nice beer garden to the rear. It doesn't look like much from outside (or indeed inside), but the atmosphere is just
Went to the place up the road but walked out again and into the fat cat. Traditional down to the stained glass. Bar maids with attitude(good).green brick and porcelain toilets. Selection of beers as vast as the bar is small. The people in the bar friendly with conversations interesting. And tinder
Lovely little pub which I'm delighted to know as my local. Great selection of beers and the pork pies are lush
Excellent Sheffield pub near the Kelham Island Museum. Nine cask beers - and 1 cider - on handpump when I last visited including a stout. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered in the beer garden to the rear.
Cracking pub with a great range of ales on pump. Staff very friendly, a couple.of cosy indoor rooms and a big outdoor garden. Highly recommended.
Really great place fora pint or some food. There is plenty of space inside and a lovely beer garden outside. They have a fantastic selection of craft beer and great choice of meals on the menu. Everyone is very kind and welcoming- no problems with booking or moving a table if need be. Very reasonabl
A perfect pub in the heart of Kelham Island. Great local atmosphere with a great selection of real ales and cider. No music, no fruit machines and no pool table! Just the great and friendly atmosphere of people chatting and enjoying themselves over a very well kept pint! Bliss!
Simply a superb pub!
Superb pub, great beers, excellent inside and outside space. Friendly barstaff. Well situated for a pub crawl around the other pubs around Kelham Island too.
Old Fashioned pub with plenty of choice of beers and ciders on draft and in bottles.
What's to say that hasn't been said. Busy, odd always looks like it needs a lick of paint. Yet a great atmosphere the best beer, inexpensive. Slightly confusing when you leave the bogs which door do I take? Great beer garden. Great area for a pint. A forever favourite.
Excellent pub - if you don't know it, its worth seeking out. Cosy, real fire, excellent selection of beers, well kept. Didn't eat here so can't comment on food but menu in chalkboard.
