Totally surprised we have not rated this restaurant before as we have been several times. Madge says it is her favourite local Indian. Traditional place with a huge selection of dishes to chose from. We’ve been coming here for years, despite pretty regular staff changes the food is great. It used to be popular with visiting snooker players but I think it’s got a lot of competition now. The food is consistently good here. If we want Indian food, Zara's is our go to. Their delivery service is also good!
Reasonably priced and decent portion sizes. The pickle tray with the different chutneys with the poppadoms are great, nice to try different ones to the standard ones.

The chicken chaat starter, madras hot was amazing and the Murgh Kali Mirch was as good as ever. Rice was nice and fluffy and the naan was good too.

We have been for a meal tonight and the food was fantastic. The staff were freindly and helpful. The social distancing measures worked really well. It was our first child free night since February and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening there. Highly recommend!
