Came here with a larger group of international colleagues the night before a conference. Excellent service, with really friendly staff and the plates of tapas from the set menu just kept on coming until there was barely space on the table. Food was good, although a little samey after a while; I would have liked the opportunity to try something different, but appreciate this isn’t easy for a large group. Excellent live band contributed to a great atmosphere overall
Top tapas and buzzing atmosphere!. This place is a must if you are visiting sheffield. We came to visit some friends and loved everything about this place! It was like being on holiday. Buzzing latino atmosphere with people dancing all around, fabulous tapas and the cocktails were equally tasty. It is different to other restaurants in that it is a relaxed, lively atmosphere but the food is really good quality. Everything tasted delicious and we all loved the meatballs. Next time we are in Sheffield we will definitely visit again!

Best tapas in Sheffield! Far better than the one on Ecclesfield Rd. Food is lovely and service great. Good for veggies!!
Can't rate it highly enough. Agree with other reviews that it is not dirt cheap but the portions are enormous and flavoursome (platillos take note). Great atmosphere and everyone you introduce will keep going back. Love it!

Great atmosphere. Go early evening and soak up a few Mohitos before settling down to some Tapas. Cubanas strength is the atmosphere; the foods good, but nothing special, though its far superior to all of the national franchises that do "Spanish/Tapas". If you stick around long enough, the band will have you salsa dancing till late.
I would love to give this 5/5 because of the food but there are a couple of reasons for the mark down.
The first is that it is incredibly noisy, it is really hard to hear the person next to you let alone diagonally. Such a shame as it was for a group catch-up, (we are all in our early 30s)
The second is the toilets, they were absolutely awful! Glad I visited after I had ate my food. Toilet rolls were empty as well.
The food itself was very nice, lots of vegetarian options, so many it was hard to choose what to have!
I really recommend the mushroom croquettes they were absolutely gorgeous.
The sweet potato and pepper dish was extremely dry.
My friends also said a couple of their dishes were quite dry as well. On the whole we enjoyed it.
A group of 6 and our bill was around £146 so not too bad considering we all ate 2-3 tapas and sides and had drinks

I had a date night here and it was perfect. The service was outstanding and super helpful. The food was delicious and came out quite quickly. The setting was really relaxed and fit the style of the name. Super impressed and we had a brilliant time
One of my favourite places to eat. Been coming here for many years and the food is consistently good. Anyone we bring here as well loves it.
My favourite dish is the goats cheese and mushroom tapas.
Slight negative comment - we ordered sangria which said it was 1.25 litres, but the jug it came in said 1 litre. So we felt a bit cheated given the price of it!
The food here was absolutely delicious. Catered well for a vegan diet, with plenty of choice, as well as a huge menu for none vegans. The atmosphere was great, with a live singer starting just as we were finishing dinner. The only thing I would say was, when we first arrived, we were left waiting near the door for a good 10 minutes. I had pre booked a table, and there was plenty of staff around, but no one came over to us for a while. But it was quite a minor thing. Would recommend!

Possibly the best tapas I’ve ever had. We went for the asparagus, croquettes, mushrooms and sweet potato dishes. All were excellent. The waiter was pretty friendly too. Don’t be put off that the place looks closed at lunchtime the restaurant is probably open upstairs.
Cubana .. very lively tonight, well enjoyed the evening, entertainment was good (John Riley) tribute singer Elton john. Great food & atmosphere. Really exciting place to visit pop in to learn some good salsa dancing. Dance the night away 🎶 excellent experience

Excellent live music and service. The food was served as it was made and was brought out very quickly. The cocktails took quite long but are complicated and delicious, so it's very much worth it in my opinion.
Great place, vaguely Spanish/Cuban style guitar playing interesting covers was really nice. Lots of really great food, staff were helpful, offering recommendations and the food was excellent. Especially enjoyed the Spanish omelette and the beans with egg on. They're was a good mix of veggie options, desserts and port were also tasty. Would definitely revisit, there is also a dance floor downstairs where people were practicing when we left. Overall a lovely evening. Not cheap, but worth the price.
