Friendly staff, good service and good food. Good tea and coffee options too.
Last evening we dined at Brocco Kitchen. What a beautiful experience.
We are greeted and seated by Christian upon arrival. He introduced Brocco Kitchen ethos and how our dinner would be introduced to us. As we could not decide, Tom, head chef took some time from the kitchen to speak with us about his menu and we were comfortable for him to select each of our plates.
Every plate that Tom prepared was well considered, visually stunning, but the flavours were at an even higher level. We started with house baked squid ink bread that was paired with Tom’s Henderson’s relish butter adaptation. If this was our whole meal, we would have been happy.
From here, we enjoyed a succession of shared small plates. Scallops started us off, followed by cauliflower, then we enjoyed duck and beef. Each plate was a journey for our mouth and soul. My wife loved her raspberry creme brûlée to round out her dinner.
As each plate arrived, Christian made wonderful wine pairing recommendations to complement our meals. All allowing us to soak up the atmosphere, flavours for an immersive experience.
If you are looking for a ‘cheap and cheerful’ dinner, do not visit Brocco Kitchen. Go somewhere else.
If you want the best service and food experience in Sheffield, you have to dine at Brocco Kitchen.
We had an absolutely lovely meal here the other night! All the dishes were exceptional and beautifully flavoured! Service was immaculate and I personally enjoyed being able to watch the kitchen staff at work. Highly recommend this restaurant! (Only managed to get a photo of the amazing crumble as everything else was rapidly eaten!)
Service was really nice and the interior is lovely, however the food and drink needs improvement. Coffee was sour, which means it's being overboiled and avocado on toast comes with two toasts, but one poached egg, which was a bit overcooked so not runny.
A very enjoyable meal with family in a lovely environment and good service. It is a little confused though as it doesn't seem to know whether it's tapas or fine dining! It's therefore stuck in the middle and not as good as it could be for either. The food was lovely (especially the (bits of) fillet steak), but the portions too small for a main course, and too un-tapas-like to share. For me, it's quite overpriced as you need 2 mains + sides to make up a decent meal, but a nice experience nonetheless.
There was apparently a printer problem so we didn't get our menus or any service for ages. However this was eventually sorted and the service improved. Tasty well cooked food but expensive and small portions.
Brocco pulled out all the stops and with 8 days notice sorted a sit down wedding reception for my niece. The food was varied and delicious and the staff welcoming and helpful.
Great place for a good spot of brunch. The chefs were very accommodating and the staff in general were friendly.
Food quality was excellent and the atmosphere made me feel super comfortable I stayed there longer than expected.
Highly recommended
we had a very lovely meal, small plates every ine of which was a delight. My top tip is to order two or three then order another couple, take your time here, the food is great. The staff are really good and k ow their stuff. We ate outside which was fine, they had blankets and small fires . the only sour note was i was chaaeged full price for a half measure of brandy ( they ran out) but you know what we had a great meal and a good time . they are deserving of their michlan mentions
What a wonderful meal we had. Probably the best Sunday lunch we have had for a very long time. Great food and great service.
Just an elegant place to dine, with some familiar menu options. Quiet and tasteful dining. Will be coming back!
Beautiful setting, incredibly tasty food and friendly professional staff. The beef was one of the tastiest sunday roasts I've ever had - the gravy was incredible.
