Came here with some friends for food and drinks. The food was tasty. We had some starts mains and desserts between us all. The food was all a good portion apart from the ravioli, there was only about 5 big pieces with filling and I just feel like there could've been more. The service was on the slow side but it was a Saturday night. Our table was booked for 7:30 and we didn't leave until gone 10pm. I would come back for some more food
Lovely Italian place. Managed to squeeze us in without a booking which was great. Service was fast and friendly. Reasonable prices. Food was excellent!
Excellent Italian restaurant over two floors, both rooms quite small. Very good service and delicious food; between us we tried several seafood pasta dishes, and a Caprese starter (which oddly had rocket instead of Basil, but was still very tasty). Good value wines and friendly and relaxed service.

Gear restaurant and the service, nice steak, lazania and those salad dishes , come with the house wine, the combination is totally Italian style. Its fine to park car along the street or parking in shopping plaza corss the street
Food is delicious, and seems a bit more traditional. Portions are big, and that’s a plus for us.

The proprietor should be congratulated on the high quality of his meat in particular, as well as the other ingredients used ! His portions were appropriate to the fair prices charged. The food was full of flavour. Top marks all round from me (Mr.Meanie).

Excellent, what can I say ,. Good menu good service, very tasty Italian food. The owner / host was very helpful and nothing was to much to ask for, small portions available for 90 yr old mum .The decor is typically Italian and the place is spotlessly clean.

Went for dinner last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We haven’t been for ages, but we were delighted to find it’s still the best Italian restaurant in Sheffield. The steak was fantastic, making it the best steak restaurant in Sheffield too IMO. Fabulous food and service - we will be back soon.

A lovely traditional Italian restaurant. Service was really good and atmosphere (Saturday evening) was great as all the tables both upstairs and down were occupied. Food was delicious. I had a Pizza Carne which really was superb. We booked last minute and they were only just able to accomodate us but so glad they did.
Went in on a whim at teatime. Lovely atmosphere. Compact menu (a good sign). Absolutely excellent, freshly cooked food served piping hot by friendly staff who don't rush customers. Definitely one to go back to. Good value too.

Food is just incredible, taste and looks great and comes in generous portions too from a starter to a dessert.

Visiting daughter at uni! Walked down Eccleshall Road looking for an Italian! Found this amazing place. Walked in around 7pm on a Fri night and managed to get a table downstairs near the open kitchen! Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food, great portions and reasonably priced! Food piping hot, we had pizza and pasta dishes, garlic bread to share and a drink each! Bill was less than £70! Boxed up leftovers for our student daughters as portions so big! Will definitely be back!
Somehow never noticed this place on ecclesall road. Went with my partner and her family on a Saturday night. All thoroughly enjoyed our food and the free entertainment (drunk people on the table next to us) - staff were lovely and we had a joke at their expense after they left.
Calzone was great and the meat ball starter was to die for. Great restaurant!
