I visited Jameson's Tearoom for the first time and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere, the flavors, and the quality of service were all outstanding. The staff was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. As my friend is vegan and I wanted to accompany her, we ordered the vegan full breakfast from the breakfast menu, and I can highly recommend it both in terms of portion size and taste. We were unable to try their desserts as we were full, but with the incredible variety of cakes on display, we'll definitely be back for afternoon tea. Overall, we found this place to be very successful in both concept and execution. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful place to go for afternoon tea. My wife had me well and truly converted to this afternoon tea thing a few years back. As a big fella, I was very much questioning why anyone would want to have "tiny little sandwiches" and tiny cakes... Well let me tell you, the sandwiches are delicious! (I *did* pay a little extra for the extra sandwiches - I regret nothing) and the scones and cakes are *proper* Yorkshire portions! We actually had to doggie bag the cakes to have later (all part of my plan to eat more of the sandwiches to be honest) The tea selection is fantastic, the staff are so friendly. A easy 5* reccomendation

Absolutely brilliant as always. I’ve been visiting Jameson’s for years and my most recent visit today was truly lovely. Louise booked us in and talked us through the afternoon tea menu and was lovely and attentive and was very sweet with my two young children. The food and service from everyone else we met was absolutely spot on. If you are searching for a place for afternoon tea then look no further. This place is the best! Thank you for another lovely visit.

Me and my husband went here yesterday for the first time and were not disappointed. We had afternoon tea and the food was absolutely delicious with generous portions. Although it was very busy, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend a visit.

Really lovely tearoom! Great service and wonderful vibe! It’s nice to have afternoon tea with your loved ones, very relaxing. It makes me feel like time is slowing down. They even has a shop as well. I love everything!! Got a strawberry and champagne jam, very unique! Highly recommend it here and we’ll definitely come back to try more things!

We rocked up on a Sunday afternoon having driven passed and seen this wonderful decorated tea shop that stood out amongst the other shops. A quick turn around and parked up and off we went to see if they had a table. It was very busy however they could accommodate us outside which was perfect as it was a beautiful sunny day. We were presented with an extensive menu with a variety of afternoon teas to choose from as well as light bites sandwiches and various other items. we decided to pick the Splendour Afternoon tea (see photos). We wasn't disappointed and very impressed with the selection. Now this isn't an ordinary afternoon tea with quiche, pork pie and the normal items associated. This is a proper afternoon tea with hasn't been altered in anyway and hold true to the tradition of afternoon tea. All served on bone china cups and plates that makes the whole place stand out from the crowd. The staff were attentive at all times and decor inside was just perfect. If you're looking for a "traditional" afternoon tea to take someone out then this is the place for you. A little bit of an oasis amongst the variety of shops around it. You won't be disappointed !!!

Very cute tea room. Every food item I tried was lovely, from the cakes and scones to the lunch bagels. Amazing tea and coffee. Attentive staff. A really great addition to Abbeydale Road. One of my favourites. ☕

Jamesons provided Afternoon Tea for 26 ladies for a Hen Party. They provided all crockery and delivered and collected it in less than 3 hours as we’d asked to and from our venue. The food was wonderful and the presentation beautiful. All we had to do was take the cling film off. They catered for gluten free, vegetarians and pescatarians with ease. I can’t thank them enough for the fantastic service and beautiful food. The Bride-to-be thoroughly enjoyed it.

Visited today with my husband for the Magnificent afternoon tea which was gifted to us by family. We had a lovely afternoon. All the staff are very friendly and helpful- nothing is too much trouble. Very decent prosecco, lovely freshly made sandwiches, great scones and macarons and cake were delicious. We had to take our cake home with us we were quite full. Everything about our visit was a lovely experience. We highly recommend. Thank you.

We stumbled upon this little gem whilst checking out Sheffield’s Antiques Quarter. Beautifully presented tea rooms/cafe with the elegance you’d expect at somewhere like Bettys or The Ivy. Food is amazing and well presented. Staff are lovely, with customer service that comes naturally and not forced. Coffee was just perfect and that for me is very important. You certainly wouldn’t expect such a wonderful tea room in the heart of a big city. Wouldn’t be out of place in York or Harrogate.

Jameson’s Tea Room is an excellent little place, with a great selection of afternoon teas, bite-sized appetisers, and complete dining options. We stopped in for the afternoon tea, quite by accident, and were very happy to find this gorgeous little gem. Portions are very generous (try the ploughman’s lunch) and the tea service comes in wrought-iron like double-tier trays. Tea pots are themed - ours had a Romeo and Juliet motif - which makes for a more fun experience. Service staff are warm, approachable and friendly and the prices are very reasonable. There was live piano which served to enhance the overall atmosphere. The food arrived quickly and was excellent. As a side note there’s also a Jameson’s eclectic store right next to the tea room, which has an interesting assortment of cards, candle holders, lunch boxes and even furniture. The service staff there are equally hospitable and if you dine at the tea room you get 10% off at the store. Highly recommend this place.

Really cool to experience my first afternoon tea, being from Canada and living in Sheffield! It certainly did not disappoint, although we did get funny looks being 3 bearded men going for afternoon tea 🤣 it was a great experience and very friendly!

A classic Sheffield experience and a great way to celebrate a special occasion. For us, our wedding anniversary. Petite, well made sandwiches, with large well make scones & cake a glass of prosecco. Live music sometimes (I think). Friendly staff. We paid with a Buyagift voucher so even better value. Recommended.

Excellent venue. Catered to our party of 22 guests without any issues - including multiple special requirements and managing to work around our games and santa visit! Will definitely be booking again for our special events.
