We had a wonderful meal at Ashoka. Excellent, tasty, authentic food and very good prices. We had more than enough food to fill us up and for 4 people including a couple of drinks and an array of dishes it came to £117. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend the restaurant. Make su
Had a delicious meal here, the food was incredible. The staff were friendly and attentive and there was a great atmosphere. One of the best Indian dining experiences we’ve ever had!
Attended with my wife and parents. A great experience, food was excellent with a different range of curries than other Indian restaurants I’ve been to. Service was really good and price very reasonable. Will definitely be coming back and highly recommend.
The food is outstanding but as someone that does not like to eat close to strangers in crowded space.. Restaurant about 12ft wide by 40ft long ways to noisy and when full you cant hear each other speak.. The staff are great had to wait a 50mins for meal The chef class of cooking wow wow wow
Attended with a group of friends at the weekend and had the caramelised vegetarian dish (sorry I can't remember the actual name) . It was absolutely delicious 😋. The service was also spot on. I accidentally left my hat behind and the staff were really helpful in getting in back to me the following d
Five stars for the food, absolutely delicious. However we ordered for a delivery through city grab, would not recommend, tracking appeared to show numerous stops and took an age to get here, needed reheating on arrival. So 1 star for city grab delivery 5 for food. Recommend to eat on & reserve a tab
This was the busiest Indian restaurant in Ecclesall Road. Nice selection of curries and bread. It ticks the box as a good British curry house. Very good service and friendly waiters - one a part time student from The University of Sheffield so it was useful chatting to him.
Fantastic food and attentive service with some banter. Had the mixed platter along with butter naan and the Taxi driver curry. No idea why it came on a sizzler plate but it was delicious. Be warned, if you have more than one sizzler plates on those little tables, be prepared for the oil to splatter
The best service for an Indian restaurant I've been to in a long while! Food was amazing and tasty and they'll make it to your exact preference. Drinks were very reasonably priced and Mango lassi was also nice. This is all coming from an Indian myself. The decor in this place is what sells it to ev
Delicious food. Great service. Lovely staff. Reasonable prices.
Came for a meal on Saturday evening. It's a small restaurant and it was fully booked. The food was delicious, we had the Chicken Tikka Masala and Makhan-Wallah with pilau rice and 2 naans with poppadoms and pickle tray to start. The portions don't look huge but they're definitely enough. Service wa
My favourite Indian restaurant ever. Really tasty, interesting menu and a great atmosphere. Don't miss it.
Our first visit from recommendation. Our son lives just down the road from Ashoka and always wanted to go so we went. Booked table on line. Friendly staff. Great setting/decor. Very impressed with the food and a lot of it. the price was just right. We will be definitely be on our next visit and our
We came to have dinner and it was really good. It is a small cute restaurant, very confortable. The food was tasty and we enjoy it a lot, but the best thing was definitely the service. Very friendly and attentive, very very happy with the restaurant and the staff.
Just had dinner in here, had a great meal. £91 for a meal for two (poppadoms/starter/main) + a bottle of wine, a sofa drink and a beer. My new fav Indian in Sheffield. Definitely will be coming again.
