I came here for a business dinner. My starter was the fishcakes, they were delicious. The main I had were the felafels and houmous. I wasn’t disappointed. The service was efficient and the waiter was friendly.
My colleagues wanted the rib eye steaks but they had run out. I guess we had gotten there at 9pm so there were a few steaks they had run out by that time. There was a great buzz in the restaurant and I can see why it’s popular in Sheffield.

Went with friends who recommended it after being refurbished. Simply beautiful. Great food, good atmosphere, lovely waitress. Bit pricey but worth it. Fantastic news is it has a CARPET. We could actually have a conversation with the cushioning effect at last. Wish more restaurants would take note.

We went for a group Afternoon Tea, with prior booking. Were seated instantly and offered the options for the "Tea" part of it. It was served within 10 minutes and our veg or meat stacks of the "food" part was served within another 5 minutes. The sandwiches, fish balls, goat cheese were lovely! Finally, bread with dollops of clotted cream and jam and brownie was the perfect desert. Some of our cream didn't taste quite well, and the guys were super quick to take note and offered them another round of bread, cream and jam! This was super nice and understanding of them. Would love to visit them again for afternoon tea!

The restaurant is so big so if you aren’t a fan of having to speak loud whilst you eat avoid going at busy times. The decor is really pretty 5/5. The Moroccan lamb was really nice. The paella wasn’t the best, most of the food is overpriced. The mocktails are a decent price but don’t get the bottom mocktail as it comes in a really small glass. The starters were also really well done. The food comes out really fast as well!

This was my third visit to an Ego restaurant, previously visited Cannock and Nuneaton. As a group every restaurant was superb. Excellent service and the standard of the food was very high. Ego has really got its act together with all restaurants with all providing a really good dining experience! It’s not the cheapest place to eat but for a special occasions it’s a lovely place to go with the family and friends.

Seven of us went out for dinner for steak night at Ego's. I broke ranks and went with the slow cooked Beef Bourguignon. Turned out to be a great choice, the beef was perfectly cooked and pulled apart with just a fork, the accompanying green beans wrapped in bacon still had a crunch and the sauce was rich and full of flavour. Service was top notch with the waiter being very polite and friendly. Averaged out spend for seven mains and drinks was £25 each including a tip. The atmosphere was just right too. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something different when in town that won't cost too much. Wanted dessert but I was too full!

A lovely Afternoon, with a three course Birthday meal courtesy of EGO. (Terms & conditions apply). Food cooked to perfection from mezzes to tapas, tagines, salads, small plates available. Mediterranean style food, quite upmarket, not fast food, great cuisine. Attentive staff, friendly & charming. Suitable for couples, parties, families. Vegetarian options and full vegan menu on asking. Clean and tidy, bustling atmosphere (I went mid day). Mediterranean style in decor. Full bar. Great Gin & Tonics. And Gin & Tonic crumbles. Wheelchair seating & accessibility. Outdoor seating available (great in Summer). Situated in City Centre next to the Millennium Gallery, so can park up and walk not too far.

Absolutely loved dining here! We visited for our first time last night and I can understand why you have to book in advance for a table. Loved the venue, very modern and fitting. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious! I had the sirloin steak with fries and wow! Incredible. Everything about our visit we loved. Would happily visit again if we return to Sheffield.

Absolutely lovely staff, especially Dermot, who made this a really lovely experience for a family meal. Initially I was a bit skeptical about the broad menu, but I was really pleasantly surprised by how good the food was - we tried a variety of dishes and none disappointed. Would definitely recommend and will be coming again!

Visited on a very busy lunchtime service. After informing the staff of my nut allergy the chef mistakenly served my starter with walnuts in which I noticed after trying several mouthfuls. Luckily there was no reaction and the staff working did a great job of service recovery and I was still able to enjoy a very tasty paella (pictured).
