Always an amazing experience. Very accommodating of my Grandad who loves cats and struggles to stand for long so has a walker. When he needs a wheelchair there is a ramp at the cafe they can put down. When we sat down Ziggy was put on a chair next to Grandad and he settled down after some fuss and fell asleep. 🥹 It's also great playing with all the younger ones and every visit we've been able to give little treats which all the cats of course love too 🥰
Lovely place to visit :). Staff were super friendly, all the cats seemed very happy, the cakes were really yummy and it was a great atmosphere. Would fully recommend going- the time goes so quick! Love that we were given some biscuits to feed the cats as well :)
It is nice to see a cat cafe that put the cats health and wellbeing first. Nice gluten free dessert options such as flapjack, brownies and millionaires shortbread, all staff were polite and very friendly, a nice range of drinks available. Overall a 5/5 experience! You could tell the cats were very comfortable.
I'm not typically one to write reviews, but this place deserves one. I have never been to a better cat cafe than Tabby Teas. As a cat lover, I have visited many, and this one surpassed every single one by unimaginable amounts!
Firstly, the staff make you feel like they're your friends! So welcoming, casual, and fun to talk to. They seem genuinely interested in you as a person, and that really made me feel very comfortable. They handed out chicken and treats for us to feed the cats, which made the cats approach you (very enthusiastically) and overall made the experience so much more special.
The atmosphere is cozy and small; everything is pleasing to the eye and just feels warm. We were offered a pretty generous selection of cat-themed board games (my boyfriend took a liking to Cat Crimes, we are definitely getting one to have at home) There was also a little catalogue on each table which writes about each cat! It was very cute, and I liked the way the pages were designed. The food was amazing; the iced coffee was so good I was actually considering asking the barista to show me how to replicate it step-by-step! And also, the place is filled with hilarious cat-themed photos. There were free pads and tampons in the toilet, which warmed my heart.
Lastly, the actual cats. We were given cat toys to interact with them, but they were feeling pretty lazy since it was pretty late. But, this meant they were in a more cuddly mood. The cats accepted pets very happily! I can't say I have a favorite one at all; they were all so unique in a very good way, so so beautiful and friendly.
Not a single bad thing to be said about this place. The price is extremely fair and good, the food is so tasty, the staff are great, and the atmosphere feels like home.
A cute little cat café just outside Sheffield City Centre, reserve online and complete payment on arrival. Pay & display parking literally a minute away. Tucked away off the main road. Lovely welcome - lots of cat themed information, small selection of gifts & some fab cakes! Lovely atmosphere, soft lighting, cat themed games & best of all CATS! They're all going about their daily business, some will be sleeping, others pottering around. Lovely place for cat lovers!
Very nice & chill vibes. It's a very clean place that is well maintained and managed, not busy at any time which gives enough chance for all visitors to enjoy their time with the cats. The place has a very cute & adorable selection of cats as well. The food & drink selection is okay, but the games & books are plenty! They also have a small corner gift shop that adds a nice final touch.
Any cat lover definitely needs to visit this place!
Lovely space - the staff are fab and the cats are so sweet. A bit more selection of food would be nice, the cakes a bit too sweet and sickly for me but doesn't impact on the experience for me
I loved the environment of the cafe, the place is clean and filled with beautiful and chill cats. I loved them all. I would definitely come again, the staff were lovely and the food was delicious. It's cheap therapy. The booking is clear and understanding.
By far the best cat cafe in the UK! I've visited numerous cafes across the country but Tabby Teas by far stands out as the best. It's clear that the staff and owners truly care for the cats and want them to be as happy and comfortable as possible. The cats are very well looked after and they receive plenty of treats and chicken!
Interaction with the cats is encouraged but their boundaries are also respected - the cats aren't constantly being bothered and annoyed like some other cafes I've been to before. The food and drinks available are also great so that's a plus.
Overall a fantastic cafe and a great chance to stroke some cats!
Its a lovely place in which the furry friends are all being lovingly cared for, i have been 7/8 times now and love seeing the kitties. They have a great little selection of gifts with the cats faces to take away to remember your visit and are perfectly fine with you taking photos with your feline friends ive always been a very anxious person in public but i always feel very welcomed there and I like to keep up to date with the cats when I'm not there and they always respond.
This is me with my favourite little guy Ziggy.
Great place to relax and chill with a slice of lovely cake and pot of Tea. Friendly staff and a wide range of cats from young to old all with a sense of character and personality that enable you to interact and observe during your time there. Can see they are well looked after and loved and great for kids over 10 and their family to go to.
Need to pre-book. Great place to spend an hour if you love cats but can't own one yourself. Hot/cold drinks and cakes/biscuits available to purchase.
Friendly staff and cats! We were given treats to hand out for free unlike at other cat cafés. Cats also came up to us plenty even without treats. Lots of cats and not too many customers even when full so always plenty of cats to play with. Staff provided games too and cat ears to wear. The tea was £3 but the pot was massive and filled about 5 cups worth - perfect if you book one hour. Wonderful atmosphere.
The cats are so cute. I love that they played Sims 4 music in the cafe, it matches the atmosphere perfectly! And the carrot cake tastes amazing.
Taken a while but this place is a really nice spot. The atmosphere is great and the staff are genuinely very nice people. The service is on point and the cats are adorable!
Enjoyed another visit meeting new and old residents. Had some simple noodles for £2. Great value and good time to be had
We loved that place !
The cats were incredibly cute, the owner was really nice and the ambiance was as delicious as the food.
We got to feed the cats ourselves which is the first time it happened to us in a kitty café.
There were games to play between two ‘cat-petting’.
And the cat descriptions were quite funny.
Oh and the music was appropriate and well thought for such a place.
Best experience we had with a kitty café.
The best cat cafe I’ve ever been to. Make sure to stroke Olaf (on his head only) and give Domino a chin tickle. The kittens are so playful, it is clear these cats are very well looked after. Staff are friendly and open to chat. There is even an opportunity to feed them some chicken and get up close and personal. The food and drinks are delicious and the atmosphere is a crazy cat persons dream. A must visit in sheffield!
I had a lovely time with my husband, the decor was great and cats were adorable of course, it was relaxing to spend some time with them. The chocolate cake was a little too rich for me and my husband but the staff were attentive and even allowed us to feed the cats before their nap time which was a real treat. I think it’d be great to incentivise customers by adding a drink or discount to the booking fee as £3.50 for half an hour is a little expensive as just an entrance fee.
