First time here and I will absolutely be coming back. Food was excellent especially the dumplings and rose syrup dessert we had which was exquisite. I liked the garlic naan which was light and fluffy and when we ordered more, it came out piping hot. Service was excellent, I unfortunately cannot remember the name of our host because I am terrible with names but she was wonderful and so friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was great, parking is tricky but I absolutely highly recommend this place.

Very quick and friendly welcome, they offered a nice little table by the window, for starters we had amristart (I think that is its name) fish, which was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside not a drop of oil, and duck & chicken sheep kebab which was also amazing. For mains for had nalih ghost is a lamb shank (but chopped into 4/5 slices making it easy to manage) which was beautifully soft and the sauce was very brown thick sauce which my wife couldn't get enough of (but lamd shank dish we had ever) we also had chicken kharrai which was bit of a let down, don't get me wrong it wasn't bad but it wasn't a kharrai more like a balti or a runny jalfrezi, kharrai needed to be a lot more thicker and darker in colour and of possible served in the black sizzling kharria dishes but in balti dish. They only offer 2 kinds of rice: plain boiled rice or saffron pilua rice so we both went for the saffron rice which was very nice. We finished of the meal with masala chai for the wife and mango sorbet (they gave twice the amount you would get anywhere else) it was so nice I had to finish it off. Drinks we had 1 Fanta, 1 coke & 1 soda & lime. Wish they would have more option for those boycotting Coca-Cola. We walked in the rain to get there hence why stayed but next time if they onky sell Coca-Cola we would just walk out hence the 4 start otherwise it would have been 5 star any day. Total cost of meal £65

The atmosphere and staff was absolutely fantastic. The food was good, portions were also appropriate but it could have been better in my opinion.
This is my favourite Indian takeout in Sheffield !! The food is amazing especially the samosas! I love the fact that they have a special Vegan menu which is just so easy for my to order! I usually do a click and collect which the website automatically gives you 15% which is great! The bag that they do if you collect is so lovely with the restaurants name on it. The customer service is lovely and everyone is so nice! The restaurant inside is rather small but still very nice, clean, modern and nicely decorated!
I would add that some of the dishes are slightly heavy in the oil :) and the samosas come in 4 but in the pictures you can only see two because I already started eating them before I could take the picture haha!
I had a delightful dining experience. The ambiance was charming, the food delicious, and Mr. Vivek provided excellent service.
This place is the best. Best Indian EVER. I always get the same meal: butter chicken and chicken biryiani. It never ever disappoints.
I had been hoping for a long time that I would still eat a butter chicken that wasn't too sweet, and I was very lucky that they made the best one I've ever had. Surprisingly, the fries were deliciously perfect. Kesar Kulfi was also very good. Service was superb, fast, and friendly, thanks to Vivek!
Really good flavours and excellent service. We enjoyed the poppadums to start. The mains were spicy but not too hot. Recommended for a mid week get together.
Just had the Thali brunch. Quiet restaurant at 3pm on a Saturday but the food more than made up for that. Chicken Chettinard curry was both our favourites and will be back again. Highly recommend, we've been a few times and this is one of our favourite Indian restaurants in Sheffield 👌
Went here for a birthday meal and the staff were amazing in accommodating us, they made the whole experience feel really personal. To top this off, the food was exceptional and the staff explained all the menu to us and provided really good advice!
Awesome food! Really enjoyed it along with amazing service by Harish and another wonderful lady ✨. A bit on expensive side with less quantities but the best choice for Indian food in Sheffield.
Fanatic staff. Came in a party of 13 and our waitress, Karthinka (hope I got the name right) was so kind attentive, discreet but just perfect! All other staff great, food came quickly and all absolutely excellent. Will be coming back for sure! Huge thank you to the team.

The best Indian food we have ever eaten.
We were lucky enough to try the new tasting menu form Urban Choola today. This menu is currently available at lunch time on weekends, and includes a choice of 5 courses in their lovley spacious restaurant.
This is no ordinary Indian Street food - it's fine dining that packs a serious punch of flavour and everything was super tasty and presented beautifully. Rich yet delicately balanced tasty currys, flaky fluffy breads, juicy prawns, tender chicken, tangy chutneys and several exciting tasty starter type courses. I'm in heaven 😂🙌
If you love Indian flavours, and want a special date on a weekend this is the one !

Overall a solid 10/10 and we couldn't have asked for more. Very highly recommended.
It was our first visit to Urban Choola and I was really impressed. Delicious food, amazing quality service, plenty of good vegan options, one of my favourite places in Sheffield now. Vegetable samosas were to die for, so don't forget about them whilst placing an order! Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service that you receive. Will be back to Urban Choola very soon.
Food is really delicious, their starters like chicken duck kabab dish is classic one and the lamb chops from the main course were my favourite, and for their prices it's 100% worth it. Atmosphere is chill and cool.The staffs were super friendly and customer orient even on a busy weekend day. Being a foodie, I strongly recommend this place for any asian food lovers.
A great place to have a cozy Indian dinner ! Good drinks, biryani was really good, butter chicken was amazing and the starters were equally tasty ! The staff was friendly and helpful ! Overall really good experience !
Good food taste, was very busy when we had been. Service was slow.
They could do with more vegetarian options in the main curries. And could increase the portion sizes of starters.. 3 pieces of paneer I think are too small for 1 starter dish. The waiters, mostly students are all well trained, speak very politely and attend to you promptly.
