Lovely country pub. Great food and friendly service. Dog friendly. Nice outside areas. Peaceful setting. Great base for walking. Ask for the leaflet detailing 6 different walks that start from the pub.
Very nice village pub in a quiet location. Road travelled to get there was very narrow and not for the faint hearted! Lovely inside with good choice of drinks on hand pumps and seating outside. Well worth a visit.
Took some finding, but worth the effort when we did. Had the Sunday roast, followed by sticky toffee pudding. The roast was generous and the veggies were plentiful. Great value, quick and friendly service, delicious food. Pity I live so far away!
Lovely country pub, great food and very friendly landlady and bar staff. We had lunch there today and to my 5 year old son's delight there were Halloween decorations up in the bar and restaurant - Jayne (I think) gave him a tour to count up the number of witches and pumpkins. Very good value lunch,
Friendly staff, good service and food was served promptly. The butchers piggy chips were unreal 11/10, slightly let down on the burger, but couldn’t fault it other than that!

Fantastic Sunday lunch here last weekend, good atmosphere & service. Wood-burner was going in bar area. A mile & a half of narrow lanes from the main road to reach the pub, but worth it. Parking can be tricky.
It was absolutely fantastic there were 9 of us and everyones food and drinks were perfect. Personally it was one of the best burgers I've ever had, definitely homemade. The staff were very attentive and obliging.
We will definitely visit again!
Excellent pub just outside of Gloucester and Cheltenham. It's by a quiet and beautiful village.
Staff were really friendly, the food and drink choice was also great - particularly valued the vegetarian options.
I'd definitely visit again when in the area.

Ok the parking is limited (perhaps ring up and check before you plan to get there?) and the road there is a narrow country lane (watch your speed!). However very impressed by the quality of food and speed of service.
