Second trip here since it changed hands and definitely won't be my last. The cheese and onion pie is one of the best I've had. Lovely staff and the new owner was very helpful with vegetarian options and how they could cater to them. Highly recommend.
Really good home made pies with generous fillings. Lots of different flavours and fillings. Served with a choice of mash or cheesy mash and a choice of vegetables. A good selection of home made cakes for desserts is also available. Eat in or take away. Really enjoyed it.
Very tasty cheese and onion pie the cheesy mash was spot on with some beans. Very good service, the owner is very friendly. I would happily eat here again👍
Can't believe my wife and I have only just discovered this little gem... Ordered cheese & onion pie, steak pie with mash cabbage & gravey. Absolutely bloody gorgeous.. roll on tonight when we took into our fruity scones .. hmmmmmmmmmmmm . Definitely will be going back to the pie and mash shop... XXX
Great tasting chunky steak pie. Loads of meat in a rich gravy. Mash and mushy peas were fantastic. Proper home cooked grub

Just had the large christmas lunch here which was really lovely and cooked fresh, a nice option of home made cakes also very friendly staff here definitely worth popping in
Pies are cooked daily and newly conceived flavours are amongst the specials. Flavoured mashes are all worth trying in rotation. I can't see how anyone can be disappointed.
The food is top notch. I always get pie and mash with peas and gravy, and it’s very nice. Friendly staff.
