The Happy Haddock - Shanklin - Photo album

Superb Fish & Chips served with a smile! What a lovely place. We were attracted by the family meal deal (2 adult and 2 children F&C for £22) which was great value for money. The place was clean and friendly. And even when we paid for extra sauce they gave us more than just one sachet which surprise
I mean, it's a chippie... but a good one! The atmosphere is as genuine as the food offer and the crew are smiling and welcoming. If you're after a good chunk of fried fish and crispy and tender chips, that's the plaice 😁 !
We've been coming to the happy haddock for a lot of years. There are a few negative reviews which worried me, but I wasn't disappointed, I'd ordered online and our food was ready just after I arrived. Really tasty fish and chips, The best you can get. They don't allow you to have plated food
Had a really nice haddock and chips last night from this chippy, which was a bit of a treat for me as the chippies back home only serve cod, which isn't as tasty in my opinion. Fish was cooked beautifully, and the chips were above good too, but short of the best I've had. Portion size was good, the
Wow one busy Fish & Chip shop! Clean shop and toilet. Haddock was really fresh and beautifully cooked. Lovely chips too! Parking available opposite for £1.05 for 30mins.
The Happy Haddock was recommended by several people, and it didn't disappoint. Good freshly cooked fish and chips, well priced and (as an added bonus) right in front of a large car park.
Great to see the Haddock open again, saves my bacon! Invaluable to the local community and of course visitors, keep up the good work.
Good size portions and freshly cooked. Nice friendly staff. You can either eat in or takeaway. Large carpark opposite for parking near the Chine in old Shanklin.
Very good fish n chips. Very attentive staff, making sure the customers are all pleased with their ordering and takeaway process.
Very popular place, and understandably why. Their P.D.Q. machine was not working, but they dealt with it admirably. The food was great and the service was professional throughout.
Preferred it as it was back in the 90s but a bit pricey especially when everything has gone up and money is tight. A family discount would've helped.
