5* This is a perfect stop for a coffee or food. You can see the attention to detail as soon as you enter and the quality of the food and drinks is excellent. I love the cosy feel that you have created here, well done. The most impressive part for me is the initiative you have implemented in training
Welcoming team in a beautiful country atmosphere. Great coffee and a good choice of sweet and savoury treats.
This beautiful café has complete heart and soul. It is my favourite place to go locally for delicious coffee, friendly atmosphere, exciting food choices and stunning interiors. It always feels spoiling as you enter; I want to stroke the tactile wooden furniture or sink into the luxurious chairs b
Great food. Great service. Nice comfortable spot. Only criticism is that you should avoid after-school drop off, where it feels like a function-room booking of mums, yelling across at each other about their extensions whilst slagging-off Horatio's new piano teacher. Otherwise, great spot worth a vis

Really lovely newly renovated cafe. Just had a wonderful breakfast.
What a treat to have such a stunning cafe in such a small village. Forge on the Green is visually gorgeous with bespoke joinery, exposed (very old) brick, great lighting, and lovely staff. The coffee is very good, too.
The Forge on the Green, situated in the lovely village of Shamley Green, is the perfect place to meet friends. The building is beautifully set out with high wooden beams and lots of brickwork. The staff are great, as is the coffee and cake. It's well worth a visit.
Forge on the Green is a wonderful coffee shop. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food is freshly prepared and delicious and they make excellent coffee all served in a newly refurbished and modern shop with a lovely courtyard for those sunny mornings. It is definitely worth the trip.
What a hidden gem! Found this place tucked away whilst out cycling with a mate. Cosy coffee shop with a really nice comfortable interior & heated seating area outside. Friendly staff, great coffee & nice cakes. Bike rack outside too.
