This is such a precious gem in the middle of a very friendly village. The owner is so lovely and welcoming. She even served us our Honeycomb ice cream even when she was about to close for the day. Mr. Trip advisory should rate this ice cream shop EXCELLENT! Food is fab my husband couldn't stop thinking about the crab sandwich we had with our tea. Good luck see you next time we visit again. We will surely be back

Best coffee in Shaldon or Teignmouth. Tamil and Peter are wonderfully welcoming and their customer service is the best. Almost a daily habit now! Food lovely too, goats cheese, beetroot ciabatta with dressing and leaves delish. Great ice cream by Salcombe dairy as well and Big toasted tea cakes. 10 * at least.

The new interior is really lovely, you have certainly made the most of the space, lovely friendly welcome really enjoyed having a chit chat, admittedly we have only had ice cream and hot chocolate which have been delicious, I will definitely be coming back for cake and lunch some time soon, brilliant addition to the village.

A great little coffee shop that also serves delicious ice cream. My little boy left his hat and the lady behind the counter recognised me as soon as I returned. We visit each time we go down to Shaldon.

Smoothest Latte I can remember and amazing Lemon, polenta and pistachio cake. Great little place using the most beautiful Rancillio espresso machine.

Lovely coffee shop that sells fresh coffee, cakes, light food and ice creams. Lovely couple who run it too. Only shame is Google list it as an ice cream shop when it sells so much more. There's also a little green around the back if the cafe gets busy and the weather is fine. Is also new to the village so hope they do well 🥐🍪🍰🍦☕️🍽👍🏻

Such a pretty little dog friendly cafe! The Salcombe Dairy ice cream and chocolate is so nice and the staff are really friendly! They are allergy aware also! The dog in the window is very cute!

Delightful little cafe, really friendly and delicious coffee with a biscotti, personally, I would prefer bistro tables rather than one large table to share, as we probably wouldn't if others were at that table as there is only that one! However, I really would recommend a visit and I'd guarantee you would return. Good luck in your new venture.

We stopped for lunch and really enjoyed the food and warm welcome we received. You can pick up a range of beautiful cakes, ice cream, smoothies, sandwiches etc. They reportedly serve great coffee too.

-- Shaldon's bijou coffee-shop, serving the best coffee this side of the bridge - the Bristol bridge. Since it opened in January of this year, this has risen from my coffee-'stop' of choice to the only one I visit in Shaldon. The coffee itself is sublime. Happily, the freshly-prepared-in-house sandwiches are also delish, and ideal to take-out and enjoy on either of Shaldon's beaches - you can't go wrong with the crab. The owners have wisely continued to serve the Salcombe Dairy ice-cream which made the former Yummy Shop so popular with holidaymakers. lollie bean sells a small but thankfully well-curated selection of cookies and cakes (perfect as a treat if you need a spot of mindfulness in the lull between school runs!) and there are often new things in; the recently added Root Beer Floats are heavenly... It's very easy to reach - only a minute or two's walk to/from the beach - and perhaps of greatest importance to walkers, Shaldonians and tourists equally is the fact that both lollie bean and its owners are not just friendly, but dog-friendly, too. Viva lollie bean!
