We had our wedding reception here in May this year. The manager and staff did a lovely job. They decorated the room and tables and made everything special. The food was great and nothing was too much trouble.
Great food and lovely staff. Prices were reasonable and it wasn't busy when we arrived at 12 but soon got busier. Didn't have to wait too long for our food either. Nice place v
Had a lovely meal. It was clean and warm and the loos were nice. Pleasant ambiance and a good, if a little limited, menu. Service staff were nice but a little slow, even with a half full restaurant, and the kids menu meals came last, which is a bit thoughtless. Overall a very good experience and the
Really nice atmosphere, friendly Staff and they accommodate for Disabled customers. And then the food............ Well when it came out, there is a wow factor. It was all piping hot and very tasty and service was outstanding too. Had a very enjoyable meal. Will definitely be going again.
Friendly staff that go above and beyond, we felt like regulars by the end of our two day stay in Shaftesbury. Lovely welcoming atmosphere with great service and delicious food. Reasonably priced too.
Spur of the moment booking for somewhere new. Enjoyed the food though unnecessary over spicing of the gravy. Dog friendly and large dining area so easily found a quieter spot. Will definitely visit again.
Generous portion of tasty prawns served with crusty gluten free bread and side of hand cut chips provided an extra gluten free option in addition to the two gluten free main courses available from the regular menu. Pleased to notice the thoughtful provision of female hygiene products freely availab

really good "proper" food, good value for money, on our visit they did seem a bit short staffed, but that can't be helped and the team there handled it superbly. bager ales on tap, good ale served.
Shared the baked camembert. Very tasty. We both had sausages and mash. Very tasty. Great range of ciders and ales. Not much choice of lagers. But best of all, I could bring my dogs in with me. Tip top. Huge garden for those sunny days.
Had Valentines day meal there with my hubby and doggo . Food was lovely and waiter that served us was very friendly and did amazing job . We ate in the garden and ordered kids burger for doggo. Nice place , very local to us , walking distance , so we will be back . Dog friendly, that's what we
