A beautiful pub esteemed in history. It proudly displays the heart of its micro brewery set up in the centre of the establishment. In each corner there is a nod to a time where putting your feet up besides the fire was the crux of a good life. Come to think of it, it still is. Leather and lighting lace the interior like a swathe of swans (apologies the over use of alliteration). The Oak Tavern & Tap House is straightforward and so is its menu. It is humble, yet interesting offering the keen beer drinker a compliment to the hops and barley.
A great place on Main Street in Seven Oaks. Vintage stuff. Excellent place to hang, meet clients and prospects. Great Beer and food. Very few places where you can sit next to a VAT tank
Warm and friendly with the usual suspects on tap. A wooden corner with a bigger restaurant like space behind and well located.
It just feels like with the name and large brewing barrel that you’d expect a more craft experience when it seems more of a dressed up sports pub (lots of TVs).
Take care to check when the kitchen is open or you’ll be on crisps - it was closed at 6pm on a Tuesday.
I’d return to have a pint of something comforting and Adnams is on tap, but I was hoping for something a bit more local - maybe even micro-brewery but it seems that’s something from its past.
I was so relieved to see that they are dog friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to go in and have lunch 😀 Friendly and courteous staff. Will be going back often..
Pretty good. We arrived as a large group on a sunday but they still managed to serve us all, prices were reasonable
Great pub on the corner of Sevenoaks highstreet, Perfect for when the missus wants to go shopping
Good selections of beers, ales and spirits on the menu with a perfect pour!
Very clean toilets, with an impressive hand dryer in the men's
Very friendly staff with a good layout around the flooring, ease of access to all areas
Food selection seemed great on the menu, will definitely be returning to try out some dishes
Absolutely wonderful pub. Tables and chairs around the bar but there is plenty of space there as well. Move away from the bar and there are a number of nooks and crannies to get comfortable in. The furniture is eclectic but comfortable and really does fit with the place. The pub used to brew their own beer but unfortunately had to stop. You will see a number of nice shiny beer vats around. To end, the Guinness was excellent as was the Adnam's Ghost Ship.
Lovely friendly staff, nice atmosphere we had the Sunday roast beef which was great plenty of veg, beef was full of flavour, we also had vegan wellington which was also full of flavour and a great dinner. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream was delicious. Try not to eat much before you go as portion sizes are massive. Will def visit again 🙂
Our favourite pub in town - really friendly and helpful staff and nothing is too much trouble. Sunday roasts are huge and delicious. Dog friendly too which is a bonus!
My son and I visited on a Sunday lunchtime. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The beer that I wanted was off, but the barmaid recommended an excellent alternative. I can highly recommend the cheeseburger and fries.
Fantastic. Came for the first World Cup game 2022, service excellent and polite and food was great. Good seats and view for the game too. Couldn’t recommend enough!
Unbelievable Sunday Roast! What a gem! Everything was perfect, and I don't say that lightly!
