A lovely high-end-ish pub offering great food. The pork belly was one of the very best I've ever had. The dessert (lemon curd parfait) was just genius - a delicate balance of flavours and texture. When we visited on Sunday, only set menus were offered, which was a little bit inconvenient if you only
We did not know this pub, we wanted a light lunch for us and my granddaughters after we had visited the National Trust property just down the lane. We parked in carpark at rear, which I'd seen on sat nav satellite View, other wise I might not have known it was there. We walked through the gate int
Amazing lunch, the staff were so nice and attentive. We had three of the starters, all of them were delicious. The truffle butternut and pigeon were our favorites. We also had non alcoholic cocktails, even though it wasn't on the menu, really great! The inside of the restaurant looked really good, v
Beautiful! My other half surprised me with a pod for my 30th birthday. It was so decorated it looked amazing. The food was outstanding and service fab. Only thing was that the £50 paid for the pod only! It does not come off the food bill so you just pay for the space which, to me, was a little steep
We had a lovely Christmas dinner in one of the pods which was beautifully decorated in winter Christmas in white and gold. We ordered in advance which made it all easier, but it was so busy. We were the second sitting so we had to wait while the first sitting left which wasn't too bad. The food was
We had the most amazing meal we thoroughly enjoyed it! Service was was fantastic the girls were really polite and helpful and the pub is done out beautifully. I've wanted to come here for ages and it was so worth the wait! Thank you so much, I can't wait for next time
we didn’t eat in this occasion but stopped in for a couple of drinks and what an amazing place never been before and the staff were extremely welcoming shannon and fred were very friendly and the other girls serving were brilliant we would definitely recommend
We stopped here toward the end of a long cycle. The outside tables were pleasant and the setting picturesque. The food was excellent (if a bit pricey, as most things seem to be these days). The young servers were very attentive and professional (the more experienced barkeep a bit less welcoming). Hi
The food and service was excellent, not rushed. We had the steak and lobster. Too full for dessert. Would recommend and definitely come.
Really amazing. The food and service is out of this world. It's like a Michelin restaurant inside a country pub. I wish I'd visited years ago and am pleased to have discovered it now. Really great team working there - thank you to them all for making the evening so memorable.
Had a great time! May return again some day :)
Highly recommend. Lovely village pub, very good food and really friendly service. We’ll return.
A wonderful, relaxed Sunday afternoon sipping on stunning drinks, eating absolutely fabulous food and listening to the very talented Liam Joseph sing. Exceptional service by Ollie, what a credit to The Plough this young man is. An all round perfect Sunday afternoon. Thank you for having us. By the w
Good pub with a decent range of beers, brunch was delicious and nice garden to sit in. Only downpoints were that you can only eat in certain areas of the garden, and some members of staff weren't particularly polite, although that is definitely not true of all of them.
Superb Sunday lunch I had the Beef and my friend the Pork the food was delicious and the service excellent we were served by Ollie who was a charming young man whose waiting skills were second to none would definitely return and recommend this restaurant/Pub
