Probably the best restaurant in Sevenoaks and easily my favourite. We visited last night for a birthday party; Quentin and the guys were amazing. Extremely friendly and accommodating, they served us up platter after platter of amazing, delicious treats including beef brisket, pulled pork, BBQ goose and an equally delicious compliment of sides such as a smokey, hot red cabbage slaw, a puy lentil & blue cheese salad and of course BBQ beans (their homemade mango BBQ sauce is incredible). We were a pretty loud and rambunctious group and the service was perfect - the wine and fantastic beer selection is also well worth a look even though they also offer BYO booze. We will be going back again, very soon, and probably quite often. Thanks guys, we had the best time!!
We went here for the first time on Saturday to celebrate our Anniversary. It was very busy but our table was ready even though we were early. The service was great considering how busy they were. The food was delicious, I went for the brisket, pork and bacon burger in a croissant roll and my husband had the fantastic four. All the meat was very good and in particular we both highly rated the chicken! Such a glorious smoky taste. We will certainly be going back.
Lovely atmosphere, delicious meat selection and nice to have something a bit different too. We had pulled pork, homemade sausages, goat and brisket. Baked beans were fabulous and a must have side dish. Really friendly staff / owners and loving that this is on our doorstep!!!
We had the best meal at Brisket and Barrel. If I could rate it higher that a 5... I would!!
The service was excellent. The food is incredible and the wine (house red) was lovely!!
We had been meaning to go here for dinner for months and I’m so glad we finally did. Only regret is we didn’t book it sooner.
You get a lot of food for your money, we left feeling totally satisfied.
I’ll be going back and bringing friends!!
Popped in to pick up some dinner after seeing their post about their ribs and wasn't disappointed. The salt and pepper rub ribs were divine and fell apart. The beef brisket was moist and tender and the smoked sweet potato was perfect. Lovely guys too who are passionate about their food. Reminds us of our favourite BBQ joint in Brooklyn. Highly recommend
Atmosphere is great, the place has been decorated and furnished with great taste. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. Brilliant selection of drinks on offer including some rare craft ales. And the food... had a sharing platter to sample as many things as possible and everything tasted exceptional! Only negative was that I was driving so couldn't have any picklebacks this time.
Great food, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere! Loved it. The best part for sure was our excellent waiter! Very welcoming and would definitely recommend for a fun and relaxed dinner experience.
Amazing food, brilliant service and atmosphere. Would post 6* if we could! We highly recommend and keep coming back! The burgers are to die for!!!
A hidden gem but not for long! Lovely atmosphere and food to die for, we'll definitely be regulars!
Brisket and Barrel, defiantly didn't disappoint.....great food, two nice guys doing something different in Sevenoaks, really worth a visit! brisketandbrl
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! Such cool decor and interiors. Brilliant canteen style dining. Delicious food. Fantastic wine and to die for Pecan Pie. We can't wait to come back!

If you like meat, especially beef, try this place. Brisket & Barrel is not a conventional dining experience, it is something special. Great atmosphere and music too.
Great food, great welcome! Love the place, would highly recommend 👍🏻
Really different experience. Food gorgeous and sold by weight. Limited menu but the choices were great. Pulled pork really tasty, everything else looked the same. Nice 'shabby chic' atmosphere and eclectic décor. French owners/staff who were all very welcoming. I would certainly go again if I lived in Sevenoaks!
Great food, good drink and interesting decor (love the meerkat!). Not the best location and you pay for slow cooked food, served fast but we love it.
Great food, great beer, great staff! Worth a trip and maybe a little pecan pie to takeaway!
Friendly accommodating staff, relaxed atmosphere and delicious food (especially the brisket). It's a long way from home for me, but will definitely visit again. Looking forward to next time!
Really interesting sandwiches, really nice side dishes.
About everything else, the service was impeccable, nice double espresso (what a touch)
Thank you for our fast lunch
If you are a meat lover and you are after some nice atmosphere to have your lunch or dinner then Brisket and Barrel is your place. It’s easy to book, there is parking nearby and the food is so delicious. The platters are very nice and worth the money, I was impressed how tasty the goat meat was and how good the burgers are. The only thing I did not like was the hardcore coleslaw, but thats my taste so I’ll let you decide for yourself. Nice homemade mayo!
The caring staff are making the food experience even better.
Make sure you have some space for the deserts. Highly recommended!
A man walked into a restaurant and said “WTF” or words to that affect. You certainly will when you enter the Brisket and Barrel. It is different take on a smokehouse concept that is trying to find its way forwards. The staff will tell you it’s still in experimental mode, its website will corroborate that thought. What the staff won’t tell you is what the standout dishes are, because they are often changed.
I recommend taking a look on google to get an idea of the weird and wonderful dishes that brisket and Barrel serves.
I went for a mix of French roasted garlic with baguette and a good old piece of brisket with all the sides for a main. Food was prepared well, but nothing to excite.
The staff are brilliant, warm, chatty, polite, with a strong French accent. Price wise the food is excellent and it’s conveniently located a stone’s throw from the Bat and Ball station.
Brisket and Barrel has serious potential. I’m looking forward to seeing it when it finds it feet.
Really friendly service. The starters were excellent. The meat very good, especially the goat. Definitely recommend it. I love the decor too. Cold and refreshing gluten free beer on tap from a local brewery
Superb selection of local beer and fresh produce. Their wine list is exceptional and the team on the ground is very welcoming and helpful.
As for the food... WOW! I admit I’m the kind of person to get emotional about incredible flavour, and it’s true, I cried when I tried the brisket.
So happy it’s just down the road from me.
This was our first visit and was pleasantly surprised. The decor is very unique. The service was excellent. The beer selection is good but lastly the food is of a really high standard and tastes just right. Good amount of smoke but not over smoked... would vistis again soon. One place to try but be careful you may get hooked..
