Just spent weekend here, loved it. Stunning views, the people are friendly and welcoming. Great food, staff are friendly and can not do enough for you to make your visit special. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great time.
We had lunch here. It was amazing, wonderful puff pastry topped Steak and Ale pie. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Wonderful view of the River Ribble and Helwith Bridge. Busy place and definitely worth a visit.Great value for money.(( There are no hotel rooms so that is why I didn't gi
On a wild wet walk in terrible weather and we had to abandon it. We took refuge in the Helwith Bridge Inn. 20+ very wet people descended on them. We were given a very warm welcome and looked after. A lovely place to dry out, reasonable priced drinks and gorgeous hearty homemade chips. Hope to return
Had a lovely day at helwith Bridge Inn today. Very friendly staff. It's under new management and thay are making a massive impression on the visitors making them welcome. Plus the food is really delicious 😋 freshly made. I would really recommend going there. I'm going back soon. Plus room in the ca
Great campervan stopover. Friendly pub with good selection of beers. Large portions of food. Good menu. Very good value for money.
The second time we have stayed here in our camper. A lovely location. Its free to stay but ate out twice at the pub. The food is super and massive portions. Excellent value and lovely hosts. Will be back.
Probably one of Englands last true pubs: no frills, just completely authentic and a perfect antidote to commercialised chains and overpriced 'gastro' pubs. This is an independent pub offering well kept real ale, proper pub food, sensible pricing, open fire and a warm welcome.
Really good food and service, best pub in the area forcfoodxand drink (had IPAs on) and far more reasonable than the ones in Horton.
The Staff and the locals are very friendly, The food is to Die for, Good wholesome food, Proper portions, None of this squiggle of Jue and a chip in a small basket malarkey! If you are hungry call in, you'll struggle to walk out !! The next time I'm over that way I'll be calling in again.
Great little pub , very warm and welcoming, parked on the carpark overnight with our Motorhome, ate in the pub and the food was great , nice pint pint too , thanks
We ate here twice last week on our family holiday to the Yorkshire Dales. The service by staff was exemplary and they gave us (and our dog) a warm Yorkshire welcome :)
The food was amazing, just what the family needed after long hikes in the Dales.
Staff made time to speak to us and our children and
Absolutely fantastic. They let me park my vw in the carpark for two nights and my friend stayed in their bunk house at a very reasonable price.
The food was far too good for a healthy waist line as was the beer.
The staff, landlady and locals were all most welcoming
My partner wanted to find a really nice local pub with proper food, I'm happy to say the Helwith Bridge Inn did not disappoint. The food portions were very generous and tasted very good. Its location is quite close to Ribblehead Viaduct which we stopped at the the prices were very good for what we g
Great location on the river. We stopped for lunch, good banter with the "Guvnor" food was very good, plates too small for the portion 😂 would have liked to have stayed for the afternoon for a session. Unfortunatley the weather wasn't very good so didn't get to walk around the area but I bet its grea
Een passed many times, thought we'd pop in for some lunch. Great spot, great smiles, great service. Thanks and will be back....
If you're in the area for the Yorkshire 3 peaks like we were, then it's definitely worth the short drive to this lovely pub. The prices are very reasonable compared to others around the 3 peaks and the food is delicious. The portion sizes, are also very generous. The location is very peaceful and th
Managed to squeeze us in for last minute booking on a steak night. Food was good, hubby said he really liked the chips and our party of 4 all agreed that the steak was extremely well cooked. Landlady was lovely. Looking forward to another visit.
Drink was good, food was not, but it was cheap! If they did better veg and did a sauce with the steak even for a couple of pounds more I'd consider it fantastic value for money. Staff were friendly, dog was allowed in too.
Came across this diamond yesterday while on a drive out, friendly staff and the food was amazing, lovely location
