First time we have had fish and chips from here(we are on holiday). The chips were lovely and the batter is the best I’ve ever had(and our local chippy has won awards). This chippy could give them a run for their money. The service was extremely efficient.

Fish was fresh and tasty, batter crisp and just right, first time ever in settle and after Saturday tea at another fish shop in settle, the ship is the best by far. Recommended.
The fish was good quality. The fruity curry sauce was like what I remember from my childhood. That made the visit well worthwhile. The fish was freshly cooked. The chips were a slightly thinner cut from what I am used to but tasty regardless. Thankfully though they've resisted the trend towards double/triple fried chips. It's a trendy waste of a chip.

Always head here for cheesy chips on my way through Settle. Excellent food, good service. Found a member of staff was a fellow Pokemon Go player - love it when staff are friendly/chatty.
Unless you are exceptionally hungry or have a voracious appetite do not ask for large haddock or cod. Their food is well presented and large portions for a good price. Parking outside on the square too.
Brilliant fish and chips. Liked the chance to put my own salt and vinegar on said food. Pleasant staff efficient service. Definatly back very soon.
Used the take away a few times but not the eat-in part. Always been happy with the food and the portion. Always seems slightly under-staffed when I have been . . patience is a virtue ;)
First visit to this place with the family. Excellent service, the gentleman who served up was on top form, friendly, helpful and went the extra mile for us. Many thanks, we will one day be back. Shambles? Quite the opposite from our experience.
Literally the best fish and chips I've ever had and I have a lot of fish and chips. Would 100% recommend to anyone nearby!
