Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. All very fresh, haddock was tasty and cooked perfectly. The chips were crispy and the smaller portions were a perfect size. Service was bespoke, according to our needs, polite and chatty. I would definitely recommend paying a visit to eat in or to take
I absolutely love proper, Yorkshire-cooked fish and chips. I wasn't planning to eat here, but I was passing and was drawn in... 1 had haddock, chips and mushy peas. They were delicious! Light, crispy batter on the fresh, flaky fish. Crispy chips with fluffy centres and unctuous mushy peas. Perfect.
Superb quality fish and chips. Both the fish and chips were cooked to perfection in lovely beef dripping. This is a quality establishment that your more than happy to pay for. Highly recommend. Ps I am an ex fish and chip shop owner, so I know good fish and chips when I have them ๐Ÿ˜Š
Went here today and really enjoyed the food. The fish was thick, white and flaky, the chips were very nice with no grease whatsoever. The mushy peas were as good as I've had anywhere else. The wait for the food was over 30 minutes but acceptable as a new girl was being trained. The staff were very p
Extraordinary good fish and chips ! Friendly staff, beautiful window art and very well prepared fish and chips, good portions too. Well worth the treat when passing through settle, park in the free co-op car park across the road fish ๐Ÿ ๐ŸŸ ๐Ÿ˜Š
Had a sitty-inner to refuel after the Three Peaks. Genuinely one of the best chippys Iโ€™ve had - the batter on the fish was so light and crispy with some nice crispy ends. Perfect batter. Tasty curry sauce, good chips. Only thing that could be better was the bread (would like butter over margarine
We love this fish and chip shop. The batter is so light and yummy to eat. Service very good and friendly. Salad was so fresh. Good sized potions. Very handy for takeout aswell as just across from the car park .
Popped in for chips and curry sauce whilst we were passing. The chips were excellent, and the curry sauce was the nicest chip shop curry sauce we've ever tasted! Thanks
Fabulous fish and chips near to the centre of Settle in the Yorkshire Dales. The Fisherman is divided between a shop for take aways and a small restaurant where we decide to sit and relax and enjoy our meal. We had the Senior's meal off the menu which was great value. Freshly cooked haddock and chip
By and large this place hss cracked it! The bstter is feally goof and the fish is lively and white. The girls in the cafe are very capable and cheerful and most importantly everywhere is clean. They must be good as at the eeekend there are long queues down the road!
Ate in the restaurant but do takeaway fish and chips. Beautiful. Had haddock and chips cooked beautifully. Staff really friendly and helpful.
This chip shop was recommended to me to try when I was in the area, so glad I got chance to try it, the fish and chips were stunning best batter Iโ€™ve ever tasted it just melted in ya mouth and freshly cooked to order, the staff were very pleasant and the place looked spotlessly clean, canโ€™t wait to
Delicious Fish and chips, we stopped off on our return from the lakes.. Friendly cheerful service. Bit pricey but not their fault i guess ..
Love it here! Best fish and chips! So fresh not greasy....good service! Totally recommend ๐Ÿ‘Œ
So I'm living temporarily in Settle and was fortunate to find this place. As I told the server, I was brought up on the seaside and this fish and chips is the best I have tried. Not greasy at all and fresh tasting. Not cheap but not expensive either. Very friendly people also. If you like fish and c
Had lovely haddock & chips mushy peas and not forgetting a nice pot of tea. I has to wait for minutes for a table due to the limit of customer due to Covid. But it was well worth the wait. I was served very quickly, as the fish is fry to order there is a wait but who wants a bit of fish thatโ€™s been
Great fish and chips! We stopped off in here in the way to the Lake District. Reasonable price with good service.
Haddock and chips, had curry sauce that comes separately in a small bowl, curry was lovely had sultanas and sweetcorn in it. Would go again if in the area. Nice decor and comfortable place to eat. A very popular chippy as people were waiting in the rain to be served from the takeaway section.
