Grumpy' s was by far the best cafe in selsey, the staff were so nice and helpful, the food and drink was really good and it didn't even take long to do! Would highly recommend this cafe to anyone that wants good food and great staff !!
Love Grumpys food and always have done! Perfect secure garden in the summer for the kiddies to play in. Portion sizes are excellent and all the meals are great value for money. Staff have always been polite and helpful and the cafe is always clean on our visits. I will carry on returning with my friends and family and will always recommend to others.

Lovely lunch very reasonably priced & very welcoming staff.
Reason for only for my 4 stars is the garden where we had our lunch could have done with the grass being cut & there was cutlery & glasses in the long grass where the Seagulls scavenge & then items fall into the long grass making them difficult to find when clearing tables
Genuinely a 5* experience. Came here with 4 friends on a Saturday afternoon. Great service and lovely food. Aced it in terms of menu and pricing structure and definitely did the job.
One of the best breakfasts in the area. Always fresh and never greasy. Other meals catered for at what seem to be reasonable prices but I've only had breakfast. Could become a victim of its own success in high season
This cafe is ideal. Great food options, friendly service, quality ingredients that are cooked well and it has a play area with bouncy castle and playhouse in the garden for kids.

Fantastic service, great prices, massive portions. The Grumpy's Burger defeated me, it was great. But probably needed to be served with at least 2 glasses of ice cold water.
If I am ever in Selsey again I will be coming here again... Maybe eating a smaller meal though. 😂
Brilliant place. The food and drink served was amazing and the proportions given were massive for the price. ('HMS' Grumpy burger for example..)
The staff there always had a smile on their face and you could tell that they enjoy what they do. The garden space is very well designed with a play area and a bouncy castle for the kids. Dogs are allowed in the garden space which is great for the dog as well as the owner. Free WiFi is always a plus and is great for getting some work done while enjoying a nice meal. Even the location is good as its just down the road from the beach and is surrounded by many different shops and car parking spaces.
Overall a brilliant atmosphere to relax in and definitely recommend going if in the area.
Nice lunch selection and cozy atmosphere. Had a couple meals here - and prices are very fair and good is very tasty.

Great variety on the menu with very reasonable prices. I liked what I had, although my mother didn't enjoy her meal. Nice and friendly.

Seated 12 of us together at short notice. Food and service excellent, as usual. Portion sizes are amazing. Must be the best place to eat in Selsey. Highly recommended.
A hidden gem in Selsey. Food is fabulous, big plates of food and reasonable prices. Our particular favourite is the brie, bacon and cranberry baguette. Delicious!
Good food, breakfast is my favourite but they do offer a wide range of meals. They do a lot for the local community supplying meals for nhs staff in chichester. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting selsey.
Had a cooked breakfast here which was well cooked and served quickly. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. Would be better if they also could accept credit cards. Besides that though a very nice local café.
