We popped in to have lunch before heading home, really wish we’d found this place before!! The food is outstanding & the staff are very friendly & accommodating. It’s a lovely place & I will be looking to come again

Had a lovely late lunch today - hubby, mum and myself. All meals were delicious, fresh, hot and plentiful - very reasonable price too. Definitely be back �.

Very good value, lovely food and a pleasant ambience make this a great place to eat.
We visited on a weekday morning while staying nearby.
The mini breakfast at £4.25 appealed. We also had a mug of Illy coffee each.
The coffee was good and they also had soya milk available.
The mini breakfast was ready in just over ten minutes. It was a lot larger than expected, including sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms and egg on toast.
Really delicious. I especially loved the mushrooms and bacon.
The café has a pleasant decor, and comfortable seats. It has seating for around thirty inside, plus a garden area, and outside seating in front too.
Table service is available if sitting inside. The staff were friendly and helpful.
There's a unisex customer toilet available, although it didn't look wide enough for a wheelchair user.
The café is fully accessible and finding suitable seating for a wheelchair user shouldn't be a problem.
Apart from breakfast, they do main meals, cakes, sandwiches and burgers among the many choices. Take away is available on many items.
We paid a total of £12.30, which is one of the best value breakfasts we've had. Note they take cash only, no cards.
Whatever you fancy, The Local Café is well worth trying.
A wonderful breakfast, cooked fresh. Coffee was excellent too. Very reasonable price I cannot find a fault.

This Cafe and takeaway is one of the best and friendly one that I have been to. The staff are great. We'll mannered and presentable people. The breakfast was great for my wife and I . It was so good. That if we're on our own. I would have liked to lick the plate clean. Lol. So many locals use it. Then this is the one to enjoy your food and drink. For a family run business. The menu is great for what they have on it. Go on you have tried the rest now go to the best.

Amazing breakfast...almost defeated me! Proper sausages, a great portion of mushrooms too and was all cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly and the service was exemplary, thankyou.
