Service was amazing, fast, friendly and my meal (Battered sausage and chips with a small Gravy) was nearly half the price of the chippy I used to go to (Wolseys in Sherburn In Elmet) and just as wonderfully tasting! Will definitely be going back, I didn’t eat it till nearly half an hour after I left
First time I've had fish & chips from Barlby fisheries in years. Absolutely gorgeous . Friendly and efficient service too. Delicious gluten free fish and chips, cooked and prepared separately. Lovely batter, not as thick as some others but as delicious and crispy as others with perfectly done chips and mushy peas. Great that gluten free is available every week day! Very friendly and accommodating staff.
Always fresh (cook to order) and the batter is pretty much perfect! Good mushy peas and curry too. The only improvement I could suggest is for a few more chips as the portions are smaller than average.
Sometimes there’s a wait, but that’s because it’s so popular! It is well worth it though!
