Enjoyed breakfast here. The staff are friendly, the service is slow. I appreciate fresh cooking and the meal was hit and well cooked but it did take a long time from ordering and they weren't busy so allow for plenty of time for your visit. Always really well cooked and presented food at a reasonable price

Great quality food, loved the Beef and Stilton sandwich on bloomer bread; only criticism was the size of the coffee as it was the smallest measure I have ever been served. Tasted great but for the price definitely needs to be in a larger cup. Will return as other meals on the menu that I want to try; thank you to the waitress for the attentive service and my apologies for not leaving a tip on my visit; will leave one on my next visit.

A perfect lunch is how I described this. Such a lovely atmosphere, engaging staff, the wait was a little long, just about to hit the "we'll have to ask where our food is" stage but then it came and it was absolutely delicious. Some lovely looking take away items too. Very impressed.

Lovely food, extremely tasty posh mushrooms on toast, only criticism was the time we waited for our food. Staff very helpful. Maybe not enough staff in kitchen to provide a quicker service.

Absolutely amazing breakfast! My fussy boyfriend says it's his favourite one! I phoned to check when breakfast ended, and the lovely lady on the phone said half an hour earlier but was happy to make us a breakfast if we were coming soon. It was just so thoughtful and really cheered us up that nothing was too much

Went there today with a friend...had the Ploughmans platter and it was amazing! Everything was so fresh and well presented. The staff were attentive and pleasant.and our order came really quickly. I can definitely recommend this gem of a tearoom and will certainly come back x

What a wonderful find. We had a bit of a wait, which just showed how popular this place is at lunchtime. The menu was great, lots of choices. My daughter and I decided on the ploughman's board. Beautifully presented with a huge array of cheeses, cold cuts, pork pie and other yummy things. I can highly recommend this little gem and can't wait to go back soon.

First time here today - really friendly service, seated straight away. Lovely menu - sandwich I had was on beautiful thick brown seeded bread and was huge! Cakes all looked incredible too - too full to have one but will definitely be back for one in the future. Would recommend ⭐️

Found this place at the half way point of a day's cycling. Good stuff: My sandwich was great, huge chunks of mozzarella, big thick home carved bread, lots of sun-dried tomatoes. Even the canned drink was well presented in a jam jar glass with fruit and ice. Nice looking cafe, good decor, nice atmosphere. Selection of cakes looked amazing, all huge portions and well presented. Staff were friendly and attentive, service was fast. Points to be aware of: Although the portions are huge, this place ain't cheap! A drink, crisps and sandwich was 9 quid. Bad Stuff : Please sort the grammar out on your menu! The plural of tomato is tomatoes not tomatoe's.

Good food as always, service was polite and well informed but was a little slow at getting food out even though it was quiet, but my bugbear was the pottery, 3 out of 4 tea pots had chipped spouts and 2 out of 4 plates were chipped. It just cheapens an otherwise very nice place to eat.

Went for afternoon tea worried because uou could not book but it was fine plenty of room and the staff were lovely. Afternoon tea was great with plenty to eat we had coffee and it's a shame it does not come in a pot as we had to pay for an extra cup of coffee
