An unexpected gem in Selby. Great food, lovely atmosphere and a guaranteed welcome. Old school charm and retro decor, the afternoon cream tea is a real treat. Forget your 'skinny mocha chino' this a proper pot of tea or coffee establishment. We'll done Maureen and team, and it's all for a good cause....give them a try, you won't be disappointed !

Lovely little hidden gem. This lovely tea room is slightly off the main area of the town centre but well worth the little walk. We had a superb afternoon tea with cakes to die for. Will defo be coming again.

Such a lovely friendly place to me... I went in with my little girl and despite her being restless l, all the staff fussed her and were so kind. The atmosphere is just lovely... While making my girls toast a couple of the lady's were singing a song together (just for fun). Just fabulous. X x x

This is a beautiful little tea room. It is quaint, clean, and has the most welcoming staff, of any tea room I have been to. Can I recommend, scrambled egg and beans on toast with a sprinkling of mature cheddar cheese on the top. With a fresh slice of carrot cake to finish. And a large pot of tea. An absolute gem of a place in Selby.

Hi visited here as you can't come to Harrogate without visiting Betty's Tea Rooms. I had the tea with fruit scone jam and cream. There are two areas to eat. The first is on the ground floor where you are seated and you visit the counter to place and pay for your order and go back to your seat and wait for it to arrive.
