Fabulous meal at the Queens Head celebrating my birthday with friends, they were very helpful. I need a gluten free menu, excellent choices, James assured me that if there was something that I would like that wasn't gluten free he would make it gluten free for me. Delicious food, lovely venue, good service & value for money. Highly recommended.

Attentive staff, fabulous food and a very warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble here. I went here with a large party for a celebratory lunch with family. Staff went above and beyond for us. I'd definitely recommend you to anyone. The food was served hot and was beautiful. Can't fault this place at all. My little boy aged 4 says that the food was better than what mummy and daddy cook.

Recently descended on The Queens Head with 17 hens on a hen party glamping near by. Spoke with James before hand to book in and to check that the few ladies I had that had intolerances and allergies would be able to eat something off the menu. The pub was close by, and they could do that it was perfect! But never did I expect it to be just as perfect as it was, the pub is lovely, we had the whole gallery to ourselves and the table was set up absolutely beautiful and the food was absolutely incredible, it looked amazing and tasted superb. All the staff were friendly and attentive and I honestly couldn't of asked for anything more. Thank you to everyone at The Queens Head for helping me make the weekend an amazing one. You truly are a wonderful place!

Enjoyed our evening very much. Lovely setting in the very pretty village (and we saw the geese walking across the road to bed). The food was excellent and the staff very friendly. Would recommend the Gorgonzola, Pear & Peacan starter. Something I had never had before.

We were a large group looking for a pub restaurant in between two families, neither of us local, to celebrate a special birthday and we certainly made the right choice! James and his team were completely accommodating of some specific requirements we had, they were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was lovely and the service excellent - we all had a wonderful celebratory Sunday Lunch and were so pleased we chose The Queen's Head, we would definitely recommend!

Visited here on Sunday 14th May, early afternoon with three good friends. We were greeted with a warm welcome and as we ordered our drinks I could see the food orders coming out and just knew the food was going to be good. It was, two of us had the veggie burger and chips, one had king prawns and one had lamb. All were beautifully presented and served piping hot, delicious, we all thoroughly enjoyed, sitting outside in the sunshine and lovely garden. All the staff were really pleasant, I had the opportunity to say thank you to one of the chefs whilst I was in the bar area. All in all, a great experience which I will be looking to repeat during the summer. Highly recommend.

Popped into this lovely pub on our way home from Hastings. What a fantastic place to relax in. And love the Geese on the green outside. Plus the one who decided to sit in a small puddle by the car park.

Came here totally off the cuff and what a find! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We were just on the verge of late for lunch but they kindly kept the kitchen open for us. The garden looked lovely but was too hot to sit outside at the time. Definitely recommend.

Lovely pub/restaurant serving good quality food and drink. New social distancing rules being applied excellently. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Average prices for food and drinks. Theres art on the walls which is available to buy. As the only pub in the village it can get a little busy on a summer's afternoon and weekend.

We went there on the chance they had a free table as we were passing and luckily they did. All 3 of us found the food delicious and the staff very friendly and attentive. My fish was fresh and cooked just right with a very inventive recipe that complemented everything else on the plate. Hopefully we will be passing at lunchtime again.

A very nice local pub. Amazing old building, with local art on the walls that you can buy. Some good Sussex ales and the food is tasty. The chips are especially good!
