The best ale I've drunk in the South West and kept beautifully. The proprietors are warm, friendly and keep the atmosphere as good as the superb beers they keep. An ever changing and carefully curated cellar keeps the experience fresh and the curiosity sharpened. Without doubt one of the best things that has happened in Seaton for a long time.

It’s like knowhere you have ever been. Great beer and cider, and instant friends couresty of the group tables. Walk in, have a great beer or cider, encounter people you never expected to meet. Beers and ciders change every few days and the food menu is great to. We love Gary the Hat !

Never in a million years did I expect to find this in Seaton. Brilliant little pub that’s all about the beer/cider. No mobiles allowed. No piped pulp music. No sticky carpets. No hiked up prices. Just a fabulous atmosphere and delicious pints of some good stuff. We will be back!

It's a lovely place! Friendly, good beers, ciders, wines and bar snacks and nice people to chat to. My husband Graham had a game of shove halfpenny, so has to go back for a re-match (that's his excuse!) Highly recommended. Thanks Gary.

So lucky that to have this fabulous place so close.....and brilliant for Seaton too. Great banter, laughter, chat, a chance to meet lovely new folks and of course the ales aren't half bad either....and nor is the wine if like me you prefer grape to grain. Thanks Gary n right hand man Dave, you're doing a brilliant job.

Great little micro pub based in what used to be a former butchers shop. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and are very knowledgeable about the drinks they serve. Good selection of real ales and ciders, there is also gin, wine and tea available. Small selection of food available. No music or televisions, and phones to be on silent in the place which is ideal as it encourages people to talk to each other - a rarity these days when you go out. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Great little independent pub, run by Gary & Sarah. We were served by Sarah, who was really friendly and happy to tell us about the local beers and ciders that they had on offer and the story behind the name All Hat but No Cattle. The other customers were also friendly and chatty, as is usually the case in micro pubs. We spent a very enjoyable hour or so there.

Love this place. Super friendly landlord, great beer, fab gin, cider if you really must, huge selection of games, dog friendly and lovely old unspoilt interior. Improvements? Can't really think of any... perhaps a bit more ice in your G&T (yep, I'm struggling to find fault, it's that good)!

At last a brilliant range of LOCAL ciders, which is surprisingly difficult to find in Devon, of all places. Plus ales that are local. Add to that the welcoming hosts to us and our four legged friends, and the occasional live music and it is a heady mix. It is small, so may not suit a large group, and the benches aren't the most comfy, so it won't suit everybody. But this remains a much needed addition to the current pub establishments in Seaton.

A wonderful find if you like different local ales and coders. A friendly welcome, no music or mobiles means you can chat or play one of the numerous board games available. Dogs welcome.
