Can't vault this place at all. Great if your looking for a Sunday lunch about 10 drive from Whitley Bay. The most importantwe point is this establishment is dog friendly. There is also a menu for your pooch. Well worth a visit.

So glad I came across this gem! Me and the hubby have been eating a vegetarian diet recently so we decided to try the vegan menu. The food is outstanding! A class above! It's difficult to call this place a pub because it really feels one step ahead. Newly refurbished with beautiful deco and a really great friendly atmosphere! I recently brought my Mam for afternoon tea and she loved it! Best place for food in my area!
This pub is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. I really enjoyed the fun quiz here 8pm till 10pm on Monday night. I haven't sampled the food yet but will at some point. The patio looks lovely.
Great value pie and beer and pizza and beer offers. Really tasty pie and fab crisp pastry. Pizza was delish. Great service.
Lovely pub and friendly staff. The burgers and fries were lovely. Steak pie was nothing special apparently. Sticky toffee pudding was nice but should have been served hot. Will definitely be back though!

The girl who served us was excellent, so friendly and helpful. She even put extra logs on the fire when she noticed I was cold. The food tasted excellent but I thought the portions were on the small side for the price. However the quality of the food shone through.
Had Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago as they have a good few vegan things on the menu, kids and me loved the food so much my daughter wanted to go here for her birthday.
Had garlic mushrooms to start and they had potato skins (best she's had ) fish and chips, pizza and meatless burger for Mains. Couldn't fit in desert for all would have been lovely. Large portions, extremely reasonable prices and all delicious. If you go you won't regret it.
Food is really delicious, with big portions at a really reasonable price. They also cater well to vegetarians and half the pub is dog friendly. Staff are always great. Never had any complaints and been here many times
First time here and not disappointed.The place is immaculately done out with Xmas decorations and the decor is fabulous .The staff are so polite friendly and helpful..The meals 1 a steak was well cooked and tasty and the other a steak pie a.with a puff pastry top was scrumptious with a beautiful flavoured gravy and buttery mashed potatoes. The prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for and this was worth every penny .
I was recently working I this pub, installing new TV's and SKY. Whilst here I ordered the burger and chips for lunch.
I can honestly say I was blown away at how nice the burger was, I can honestly say it was the nicest burger I have ever tasted.
The pub is beautifully designed and the staff are so friendly.

Excellent meal at lunchtime today. Ebony dealt with our order, very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Chef came to speak to us too to make sure our meal was as expected (menu was changing today). It was, food was lovely. A lovely afternoon catch up with my friend, we both really enjoyed it and will definitely be returning. Thank you.
Absolutely gorgeous food. The vegan options are what gives it the the 5 stars for me. We had an extremely long wait for our food but it was a busy Sunday service.

We have recently discovered the V&A and popped in for Sunday lunch to be very impressed. The staff are very friendly and they have amazing vegan options that sold out very quickly that afternoon.
We came back today for a birthday meal to enjoy the weekday menu which is also amazing along with a great kids vegan menu.

Was so excited to find this place. It had vegan and meat options. Went on a Saturday night. Ordered at the bar. Ask for a cup of tree. The waitress asked what type of milk I wanted which I felt was a nice touch. My start was amazing!! Was Tofu. 2nd course arrived which was delicious, vegan fish and chips. From this point on service was very slow. Our plates must have been left about 30 mins. It was top restaurant quality food. Only gave 4 stars due to service.
