Have the say we turned up on Wednesday night for pie night (£8 for home made pie & chips and a pint or wine) and were pleasantly surprised, the hotel has been refurbished to a high standard the staff were pleasant and courteous and the food was great, so we decided to give steak night a go on the Thursday night. £22 for 2 rib-eye steaks chips and salad plus a bottle of wine so we weren’t expecting anything other than a bog standard steak and chips!!! Bloody hell, how wrong were we, we ordered both steaks rare, and rare they came, I ordered side portions of blue cheese sauce (just for my chips obviously) and onion rings, both excellent and very obviously made to order. I have to say that’s the best steak we’ve had in a restaurant/pub in a lot of years!!! Well done longstones house hotel and keep it up!!!
Agreed with everyone fantastic place nice rooms and breakfast did not get chance to have an evening meal they were doing it Thursday to Sunday we was there Tuesday and Wednesday. And they even have a bar with some great beer
Only stayed one night was a great place couldn't fault it had everything you wanted definitely recommend and would stay here again keep up the good work!
We had an absolutely fantastic 2 night stay over Easter... extremely comfortable room (with the bonus of a sea view!) clean, modern and fresh decor, with everything you need! Amazing food in the restaurant... 5* standard with a relaxed and very welcoming atmosphere! Great breakfast, fab selection and eggs cooked just as ordered! Lovely friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help! We will definitely be back and would heartily recommend... fab!!!

Service was excellent, waiter was very friendly and accommodating.
Food was bloody delicious.
Starter of mussels and prawn skewer were extremely tasty.
Many thanks to the chef for allowing me to change my choice of main last minute from a dinner to mussels in wine/garlic. Best mussels I’ve had.
The ladies thoroughly enjoyed their Sunday dinner.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. The staff as so lovely and welcoming - it made our first family holiday with our little son Percy and dog Jassy so much easier � we can wait to visit again next year! Oh and the food it delicious �

Fabulous food and the most comfortable bed / pillows I've ever slept on! Lovely breakfast and hospitality from Lindsey and Mark. Will definitely be returning. Excellent value for money.
Fab people, fab food can't wait to go back. ...perhaps without the kids next time especially since tom has expensive food tastes and only looks at the adult menu these days and always goes for three courses.
