We had afternoon tea for a group of 12 here for a hen party and we had a great time.
Tracey (one of the staff) did a great job at organising everything, she went out of her way to make it special by decorating the room/table and her service was fabulous.
The food was delicious, all lovely homemade sandwiches scones and cakes. Granny even got to take some home in a box.
I'll definitely return and would highly recommend. It's a lovely quirky little place suitable for all ages and occasions.

Booked Roobarb n Custard for my best friends baby shower on a recommendation from a friend and it certainly didn't disappoint. Firstly the service I've received from planning this through to it taking place today has been amazing, staff are very accommodating with everything and nothing was too much trouble. The afternoon tea itself was just amazing - I've never seen anything like it, no-one knew where to start but it was all delicious. Will definitely be back again soon & would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon xxxx
Took the girls for cocktails last night and the lady who served us was very courteous and polite, very quick service considering we must have been a pain in the arse ordering cocktails all night � the drinks were all lush, I recommend the Floradora & Perfect Storm, absolutely delicious drinks. I come here with my mam for tea sometimes as well and the staff are such lovely people. Lovely for a small lunch or a casual drink. I’d go anytime and recommend it to anyone. Well done and keep up the good work!
I can NOT rate this place any better then a 10/10 . Staff are great service is brill. Always feel welcome and homely. Also the women who runs this is a absolute delight. Love it. drinks-fab . food-fab . Service-fab. xxxx
Roobard n Custard afternoon tea is the best. I have got to say that I have never had a afternoon tea as lovely as this. Everything was gorgeous,it was so hard to choose my favourite item. I also treated myself to a Dirty Martini off the cocktail menu and this woman the owner knows how to make a cocktail it was the best I have ever had,just the right amount of olive brine. Definitely will be returning with rest of family.xxxxxx
We had a slight mix up with our reservation but the staff did everything they could to help. The food was served quickly and was incredible. So much variety and more than enough for us all. It was a great experience and I will definitely be returning. I would highly recommend.

Had afternoon tea with my family today and it was amazing. The food was delicious and plenty of it too! We all left with carry out boxes as we could not eat it all. My daughters had cocktails which they said were very good too and a large size. I had tea with my mother which was traditional loose tea in a large teapot. We each had 3 cups from it. Nice friendly staff with great service. Will definitely visit again
This place is amazing! We hosted a baby shower for our friend - 25 people attended and there was enough food for everyone to eat plenty there and to take two pieces home with them. My friend had a lovely afternoon to celebrate. We weren’t given the ‘wink wink when are you leaving’ look from anyone who worked there. We spent a fabulous afternoon here! Highly recommend to anyone! And the chocolate cake ain’t too bad either! ☺️
Thank you so much for having our party at your venue well where to start Rosa and all her staff were fantastic and made us all feel very welcome from the moment we walked through the door, nothing at all was any trouble considering there was nearly 40 of us. The food was wonderful everyone commented on how nice everything was and the cakes were to die for the service was fast and very friendly they made our day very special . A lot of the guests traveled from a distance and said whenever in the area will defently return.
We were there yesterday for afternoon tea for the first time and got to say everything was spot on food and staff were second to none lovely atmosphere definitely will be going again

My sister-in-law and I had the afternoon tea at Roobarb n Custard yesterday and it was lovely. I had never been there before and what a lovely venue it is. The afternoon tea itself was enormous, we took 2 doggy bags home!!!!!! On top of that the offer included a cocktail each! We would certainly go again and would not hesitate in recommending it. The tea was lovely, loads to eat, the venue fab and the staff very pleasant and helpful. All in all a perfect afternoon!!

My friend took me here for afternoon tea and it was great. The staff was lovely both kitchen I think her name was Charlotte, very polite and the lad on the bar was extremely helpful too. The food was delicious. Cant wait to pop back in again. Specially as they dont mind dogs.
Lovely afternoon tea but unfortunately the floor had not been swept under our table which was covered in food probably from a small child as the high chair was still there. This was disappointing as the rest of the place looked spotless. They also provided toys for the children to keep them entertained which is a good idea
This was as good as the reviews were suggesting and more. I got an amazing coffee (latte) and really delicious homemade Victoria sponge cake. The slice of cake was MASSIVE! The decor is beautiful and the music is good and not too loud. Nice staff as well. I will definitely be going back if they stay as good as they are now. If I really had to pick a negative, it would be that you can't tell from the outside of the building how lovely it is inside. Overall, great choice.

Fabulous afternoon tea. Lovely finger sandwiches scones and lots of cakes. Could only eat half so they gave us a box to take the rest home.

Had a fantastic afternoon tea there today 7 of us celebrated my sisters 80th birthday very helpful nothing too much trouble for them even gave us boxes to take away anything we couldn't eat and there was certainly some of that!!!!Thank you once again Very quirky place worth a visit
