Great little cafe with friendly staff and fantastic food. Well worth a visit if you're in the area and hungry.
We stopped off here for a spot of lunch after parking at Nose's Point and walking along Seaham seafront. The cafe is well decorated and feels fresh and new, making for a lovely spot to sit. The only downside is the lack of windows to look out for if you are on your own. We purchased two corned beef
Loverly small social cafe with great staff and snacks. Afternoon teas a must. Great coffees to.
Torn between sweet or savoury, going back to clear up! Service great, staff pleasant and quick. The shop looked stunning, but as an 80 year old grandad, that might not be a valued opinion.
During a walk along the seafront, it was just what we wanted to come across this serene stopping place for a bit of refreshment. Sofa was comfy and relaxing. And to add to the distraction there was a boutique tucked away inside.
Popped into this lovely little place today for the first time. Wish we’d tried it earlier. Lovely atmosphere, friendly and efficient staff, who couldn’t do enough for you. Good menu and delicious food. We had ginger and lemon cake which melted in the mouth, superb! And tuna melt panini….delicious 🤤.
Nice little independent coffee shop. Cosy, great service, nice coffee, decent food.
Happy to call in again.
We stopped at the black truffle for a spot of lunch, we was served by a lovely young lady. food arrived fast and was very tasty. Highly recommended if you're coming to seaham
We popped in for light refreshments and the pot of tea was lovely, friends had special coffee's and tried scones and the shop had some great seaglass pictures the only 1 thing wasn't enough seating but takeaway possible.
Lovely cafe, best flat white I've had, and the homemade sausage and black pudding rolls are definitely different in a good way.
Cheese acone with caramelised onion chutney. Followed by lemon and pistachio cake.Delicious.
Our 1st visit to the Black Truffle Coffee Shop & we will be back. Had to wait to be served as it was so busy, but we were quite happy to sit & relax. We had Americano, earl grey tea, cheese & tomato panini - which we shared) so we could have carrot & pecan cake, coffee & walnut cake - All delicious.
First time visit today and just stopped in for coffee and cake. Lovely little coffee shop, very friendly staff, good coffee and delicious chocolate orange cake. I did mean to take a photo of the cake but I was a little bit late, maybe next time.
Always good food and service in black Truffle and a visit into the clothes shop out the back is definitely a necessity.
Called in for a gourmet sausage roll and a tea. Excellent sausage roll made with pickle and sage and onion stuffing and the cakes look great.
We called in for a cupa, the staff were lovely and friendly. I was offered a piece of cheesecake for free as it was too small to sell. I am on a diet and was devastated. I had to say no. We are 100% going back for cheesecake as it looked delicious 😋
