We were a family of six adults staying in Seaford for one night to attend a large family gathering close by. How fortunate to have chosen to stay at The Wellington. On a wet and miserable weekend it was a sheer joy to be shown our accommodation with the heating on in each room, a lovely clean kitchen, including teas, coffee and biscuits. Bedrooms were generous in size and again spotlessly clean. The following morning we all enjoyed a superb full English breakfast. We would not hesitate to return to this establishment. Thank you so much and sending our best wishes to you and your staff.
Decent hotel in Seaford. We booked this for a wedding and the bride and groom were here. The room we got had lovely sea views and was clean. The breakfast was very good. It is a little bit out of town but definitely walkable.
Nipped in for a Sunday roast they were very welcoming. Lovely roast. During the meal the landlord asked us if we'd like a drink ( he didn't know us) as his grandchild had just been born the day before Very happy for them all. Definitely will go back in, the landlord and locals very friendly worth a visit.
Stopped in for drinks and a meal after the long Seven Sisters hike and it was the perfect place to relax and refuel. The staff was attentive, the space was comfy, and the chicken sandwich was very tasty! Not only was it a double chicken sandwich but the sauce and bacon as well really added to it.
Called for lunch. Good choice on menu. Food arrived in good time. The only criticism is that my hot food was served on a cold plate. Otherwise full marks
Visiting a friend who moved to the area, recommended The Wellington, can't fault the food whatsoever. Fish was fresh as a breath of fresh air. Will be visiting again when I'm next in the area!
We visit the public house regularly and enjoy the atmosphere created by Simon and his staff. We were recently in need of a last minute booking for 11 people on a Sunday afternoon which Simon and Nina were able to accommodate for us. Great food, great staff and a great local pub for the whole family to enjoy.
Stayed for two night this week and for the price we paid this place is excellent value for money and literally a minute walk to the beach , the rooms were spotless and the beds were extremely comfortable. The food available was delicious and the breakfast set you up for the day, however the best thing about this place is the owner and his staff!! Nothing was an issue they are all extremely friendly and hospitable and even though we were visiting for a family funeral we had a lovely stay, will definitely be back 😍😍😍
Lovely pub and bed and breakfast. Stayed for a night, the room was simple but spacious and cozy. Food at the pub was delicious! Best fish and chips I’ve ever had and the pie was also very good. All of the staff, from the girls at the pub in the evening, to Simon in the morning, were sweet and helpful. Location is perfect: just a short walk from the station, even closer to the beach and ideal if you plan on walking the Seven Sisters trail. Would definitely go back.
This place is great. A cosy, dog friendly proper pub with open fireplace. Very welcoming! There were 12 (adults and children) of us, plus a dog, who got caught in a hailstorm and saw this pub. Welcomed us in and allowed us to dry some of the kids clothes by the fire.
Food was nice, generous portions. Value for money, well, 12 of us, 10 had food, all had a drink and it was just over £100.
