Had such a great visit today - both the staff were friendly and welcoming. Nice intimate place where you felt looked after - highly recommend this place if you are visiting Seaford 👍
I found exactly the lunch I was craving at Church Lane Tea Room - I tried the goat cheese, red onion marmalade and arugula sandwich with fruit scones after and I would highly recommend. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and I absolutely loved the peaceful atmosphere of this adorable place! The staff were absolutely lovely, and I really enjoyed that all the customers and staff were so friendly. Thanks for such a nice experience!!
Thank you, thank you - we had a wonderful lunch today! You even catered for me, no gluten or cows milk dairy. Big thanks for letting me share your goat milk with my delicious pot of tea.We will be back soon!
I recently visited Church Lane Tea Room in Seaford, UK, with my son. The food is DELICIOUS! I recommend the Cream Tea. They serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The decor is quaint and adds to the seaside experience. Loved it, and so will you. Visit soon.
Lovely fresh homemade food. Good fair price. Lovely staff. A very cosy friendly place to have a bite to eat.
What a lovely, little tea room!
My first visit to the tea room
With a couple of friends for lunch. A lovely gentleman served us and was very helpful, chatty and polite. The food was lovely and very reasonable.
I will defiantly be going back again!
Really cute tea room with lovely friendly staff that made us feel welcomed. Yummy cakes and great coffee
We were passing by Seaford and stopped to get a quick coffee and accidentally found Tea Room! I can say that it was one of the best porridges I've ever had, amazing coffee and Tomas was an absolutely sweet heart
Myself and my husband enjoyed the most amazing Chocolate fudge cake, such a treat. Fantastic coffee and wonderful service from Megan. Definitely be returning to try more of the lovely homemade cakes.
Had a fantastic high tea yesterday with my mum and grandparents. The staff were lovely as always.
Splendid, the best tea & cake on the south coast
Totally in love with Church Lane Tea Room, & the gorgeous owners xx ❤ From the very warm welcome, the delicious teas/coffees (so many choices!) to the variety of different yummy food available. .. in a glorious venue ... sigh ❤ 5 star xx
Great Afternoon Tea with some girlfriends. Thomas & Enrico did us proud. Lovely couple of hours spent eating cake & drinking tea!
Such friendly atmosphere & service. Coffee amazing. A great varying array of delicious gluten free cakes and pastries. A real delight to step inside and relax at any time of day.
The best scones we've had in a long time!
Very pleasant owners, the service is really quick.
It's a small place, but that's the sense of it: to have local homemade cakes in a cosy small cafe.
What a lovely little place, been here a few times and either had lunch or coffee and cake, both are equally tasty. Everything is prepared with love and care and local quality ingredients. The owners and staff are very friendly and welcoming and the decor is charming. We will definitely be going back and i think I'll buy a voucher for high tea (with bubbles) for a gift for my mum and sister.
Fantastic little cafe/tea room. Not massive but on a nice day there are a couple of tables outside. The treacle tart with clotted cream is just amazing.
I had the mushrooms and bacon on toast last time and it was simply devine. Can't fault this place. It's run by the nicest people too so service is great.
It's not massive and only has a handful of tables but that's part of its charm.
A must visit if you are in Seaford.
Recently been back and the treacle tart is still amazingly good. 👍🥧
Had lovely afternoon tea. We come here a lot and never been disappointed. Small inside, but perfectly formed. Update: Nice ploughman's today 2nd June 2022.
Lovely little tea and coffee ☕😋 shop, been a few times over a few years. Nice home made scones. Not far from sea front, easy walk. Nice and old fashioned.
Amazing meals with high quality food! Moreover the prices are cheap, the ambiance is cosy and the waitresses are sweet
After walking to the Seven Sisters we went to this fantastic cafe for afternoon tea. What a lovely place!
Everything was homemade and delicious! I had the best cherry tart I’ve ever tasted and my husband had scones with jam (also homemade) and cream. The staff were so friendly and the only disappointment was we had to rush to catch a train otherwise we would still be eating!
A quaint and warm place where the Victoria and Carrot cakes were to die for! The locals being there made us feel like we were in a very authentic tea salon meant to sip our tea, reconnect with old friends, make new ones, or just simply wait for the rain to stop.
Visited for a late lunch during Seaford's Art Wave Week. They weren't overly keen as it was getting late, but cooked a superb mushroom tagliatelle for my partner and I, with lovely fresh salad sides.
A most delightful family run small cafe. Delicious food beautifully presented.
Well worth a visit but book to be sure of a table.
Thank you
Lovely little tea room, staff very friendly, chef fantastic. Perfect poached egg.
100% recommended!! Best place in Seaford for lunch & afternoon tea! The food was delicious and the owners were very helpul (we couldn't decide which cake to go for as all looked tasty!). Homemade cakes & daily baked scones. Really good value for money! The owners were very welcoming and friendly :-) Definitely will come back in our next trip to Seaford!!

Exceptional. Friendly, chatty, down to earth staff with a wonderful array of treats. We had the high tea and it was packed full of food, you won’t be leaving hungry! Excellent value for money too!
A cute place to sip your coffee and I had one of the most delicious carrot cake. Service was good and lovely ladies taking care of it. Cant wait to go back !
We stumbled upon this place by accident, what a delight ! The staff is lovely and the food all homemade. Excellent value for money, already planning on coming back 😍
Lovely little place - cosy. Very friendly. Great food. Good veggie options. Not really accessible for disabled though
Had a lovely breakfast here with my friend. The bread they used for our sandwich was so great and soft. Owners were so so nice, atmosphere was pleasant with locals bantering. We arrived at opening time 9am Sunday, and there were already customers chitchatting with one another.
Very nice food, will come back again
A lovely small and cosy tea room, with all home made food. The lentil and winter vegetable soup was wonderful, as were the home made cakes after. Very friendly and helpful owners. Highly recommended.
