The Beacon has changed a lot over the years and after not visiting for a good 2 years, I was very pleasantly surprised.
The new land lord / owner has done a great job sprucing the place up. Getting rid of all the traditional mahogany that was everywhere and replacing with grey paint which has made a massive improvement to the look and appearance straight away.
They have also added 4 massive screens all connected together giving something like a 100" plus TV for watching the games / sports / fights etc
I would definitely recommend this place again now, it has a great atmosphere, unlike before and the prices are good as well!
Give it a visit if you're around the area.

Love this place, great people in charge and good atmosphere.
Stopped in here on the way past on an off chance... the hospitality was above standard for a local bar... they helped me choose my birthday Sambuca and made me feel very at home... great team in beacon... gooooo beacon x
