Hardly any waiting time even on busy a Friday evening but if you want a large fish remember to tell them as you go in as it's cooked to order. A little jewel of a shop.

I grew up in Grimsby so consider myself somewhat of a Fish and Chips conniseur and the meal I just got from here was as good as it gets. All fish is cooked to order! Lovely light and crispy batter. Fresh chips, friendly staff.

Good fish and chips, fish cooked fresh while you wait, tip. When you get there ask for fish to be put in so your waiting is shorter. Staff friendly. Parking outside is no problem.
I will give 4 out of 5 for food, but 1 out of 5 for customer service. When a customer asks for food to be freshly cooked, it should be, and they should not be given food that has been shelved for over 15mins. You know who you are, it wouldn't have hurt you to be civilised and cook a fresh Spam frit
Great place for your fish and chips. Always hot and tasty. I use Marsden lane. I also hate my fish with skin on abd they dont do this so its fab for me
I did stop going there after one of the staff was extremely rude and personal to me.. I went to the one on east common lane. I later found she left

Since moving to the area this is the best chip shop I've come across. Food is always 5 star. Surprised to see some comments about bad customer service as I'm always greeted in a kind and friendly manner!
