We popped in on a Saturday night and had a lovely meal, nice portion sizes. I had a steak, it was cooked perfectly and filled me up nicely, so much that I couldn't fit a dessert in and I like dessert. My partner had the Stroganoff and it filled the plate. Both of us enjoyed the meal and we shall pop again sometime. Great friendly service by all the staff.
Went for Sunday dinner, was very nice meal and pudding. Service and staff were excellent definitely recommended to others and repeat visits from myself.
My husband and I went yesterday lunchtime and the meal was absolutely great, couldn't fault it. The staff from the people serving behind the bar to the staff who brought our meals were very friendly, polite, will certainly be back. Thank you
Sunday lunch was realy lovely all fresh veg with crispy roast potatoes and all hot ,we all realy enjoyed our meal the beef was lovely and plentiful realy good value lunch, In fact so reasonable we all had desserts as well , Thank you Butchers Arms will defo be having sunday lunch again very soon .

We booked for Mother's Day lunch. The food was excellent and the staff couldn't do enough for our two young children! I would definitely recommend the Butchers Arms to friends & family.
Popped in for Sunday lunch today the food was lovely plenty of tasty meat and I liked that the veg was served separately all very good value for money! We also had some homemade deserts too again it was lovely would recommend x
Had my sisters wedding reception here the staff were extremely friendly and got all our meals to us very quickly all 25 of us .l would highly recommend this establishment.
Not from local area, made to feel extremely welcome, staff where more than friendly, made a very good experience, plus had two kids and a dog, but wasn't an issue!
Four of us went out sat evening, 3 had steak and I've got to say it was top dollar, melt in your mouth stuff big well done guys I'll be back.
Following a fab pop quiz on Wednesday last, we fell lucky and won a Sunday lunch voucher for the Butchers Arms. We visited this afternoon and I have to say that the meal was absolutely lovely. Great service and great food. Certainly worth a visit guys!

This place has had a revamp since i last visited...very well decorated as with a chic bistro feel.

Took a while to get served and it was empty but think they might have been changing a barrel or something. Nice place and a nice pint with a good selection. Think they also do food but I didn't have any, nice friendly atmosphere with some suspect characters in tracksuit bottoms but didn't cause any issues. Worth a visit if you are passing.

Called here for lunch, chose the £8.95 two course special, the portions were of a reasonable size, nicely presented and greeted/served by a very friendly lady. Good basic pub grub....which is good to see. Would go back and would recommend.
Love the refurbishment, same brilliant service we've always received. Always proud to take visitors in there and call it our local, and everyone I've ever taken in there has always said they want to go again next time they're down this way! Thank you for making our large party feel so welcome.
