Was taken her by friends after a trip to the cinema and was very impressed. Delicious haddock, cooked to perfection, as we're chips and mushy peas. Pleasant staff, very obliging. Will certainly return 👍
I had Lemon Sole with mushy peas and My Son had Skate with garden peas. We ate in the restaurant and it was excellent I could not fault the food or service in anyway. My son couldn't decide on which of the 2 types of curry sauce to choose (Yes 2 types) so he was given a sample of both to decide

Always a friendly welcome with a smile from staff, the excellent fish 'n' chips were very tasty. Two types of curry sauce, normal and the much more flavoursome spicier 'Irish' one. We went for a sit down in the restaurant twice this week as we enjoyed it that much. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I also recommend the takeaway and try the Irish curry, it's amazing.A+++++

We often go for lunch as there's a very cosy little restaurant attached to the main shop.
This time I tried the steak pie... Delicious and proper chips too.
Lunch time special are great value, and they are licensed if you fancy a glass of wine with you
Have used the chip shop takeaway option before but this was my first time in the dining area.
The restaurant is surprisingly larger than you would think and the dimmed lighting, and wooden decor make it feel very cozy, and i imagine in an evening with the right person it could even be almost romant
