Absolutely lovely food today, had a lamb shank dinner and lemon posset, portion sizes are very generous. Well done to the chef for providing top quality, innovative food. Waitresses were very polite and provided a great service. Would definitely recommend and visit again!
Went for Mother's Day and thoroughly enjoyed my first visit here!! The meal was of exceptional value and excellent choices on the menu. The food was of good quality and portion size, and the addition of the singer just topped the afternoon off nicely! Would definitely recommend- great value for money, thankyou 😀

The food at the honest lawyer is stunning, a real treat. The mixed starter was amazing and the mains pure quality. Lovely atmosphere, great staff and a Fantastic chef. Up there in the top restaurants to eat at in Scunthorpe. I'll be back! Cracking rib-eye with all the trimmings.
Celebrated my twenty first birthday at the honest lawyer, the food was fantastic everyone thoroughly enjoyed the experiance! The beef was cooked to perfection, and the lamb shank just fell off the bone. The front of house staff did a wonderfull job running around after our big table. I would 100% recommend a meal here, and i will be back!
Popped in for a bite to eat with my father and the staff were really welcoming and very attentive. Ordered Haddock and chips which was a lovely fresh fish with a light and tasty batter. Also chilli con carni loaded fries which is a meal in itself! That with nice chilled wine and good selection of beers will see me back for sure!

We went Saturday and ordered from the lunch menu... the portions were very generous and I was so shocked when I got the Bill I thought there was a mistake and I had been under charged... amazing food and even better value for money I shall be returning and telling all my friends.
Nothing bad to say about this place. Great food .great service and they serve Carling too. Heaven. �

Called in for food only to discover that they don’t do food but still a nice bar. Even though the football was on, it was still a nice atmosphere where you could comfortably talk.
Love this place but don't get to visit often. Great selection of drinks, great service and fair price. Atmosphere is what makes it special.

Nice rotation and choice of hand pulled ales (and other beers for anyone else). Just what I like. Nice, local and friendly welcoming atmosphere definitely a must visit. Once you've been here you feel like you've been before and want to return. Very comforting. Great staff.
What a fantastic little place with a warm welcome from the locals, we popped in to watch a footy match and was so surprised how polite everyone was.
They made room at the bar and even let us both take seats before them and so friendly.

Great dog friendly bar very small but really nicely done out. Service great. Food upstairs was really nice tapas. Beware the front door opens outwards so it can make you look an idiot pushing to get in 😂
