The pastry on the meat pie was so hard couldn't even cut it , meat itself was nice. Fruit crumble was again very solid and not crumbling at all. Staff attentive and service good. Meal a bit expensive for what it was.

Went here today for the first time for a family meal for 6 people. 3 course meal for less than 17 pound on a Sunday can't go wrong. The place was clean and tidy, there was plenty of parking and outside seating for the summer.

Enjoyed a 2 course lunch special today... Steak and Ale pie with a lovely suet pastry top, home made chips with veg and gravy....All piping hot and thoroughly enjoyed.... Sweet was toffee apple crumble with ice-cream....once again it went drown a treat.... Always a joy eating fresh home cooked meals here.

We had a family and friends gathering after a funeral. The staff were able to open early and were so very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The food is always lovely with such efficient service. Thank you so much for everything

We called in on Friday evening for food & drinks and really enjoyed ourselves. Firstly all the staff were very friendly, smiley and welcoming and that always goes a long way for me.😀👍🏼 The Ale that was on tap was absolutely beautiful and the best beer I’ve had for a long time. Fish & chips we ordered were delicious freshly made haddock with home cooked chips. Very cozy restaurant with a large conservatory for added seating. After food we sat in the lounge area on comfy leather seating to finish off our drinks. Well done to everyone for making us feel welcomed and we’re definitely call again especially for the tasty Ale 👍🏼 PS Lovely views and a very nice setting that makes it a place worth visiting

Visited for lunch. Food was good, but not excellent. Wait staff who took our order seemed miserable. Lovely location though, very cozy.

Nice and friendly pub, the menu choice is very good along with the specials board and the food did not disappoint, good for food or just somewhere to sit and have a chat and a drink.
