Popped in this morning to treat ourselves to breakfast (well, we only live next door!) And it was delicious! Proper cooked breakfast with locally sourced food (you can tell...) and a great price! Will be doing this again as a treat... Just cos we can! Thanks girls...sterling job.

Always a welcome stop off on our club bike rides, probably visit 6 or so times a year, good cakes! Good service today by the two young girls working the tables.

Great food, great service and great value. I notice a critical review on here because the Paddocks don't do takeaways. If you want a takeaway go to a takeaway not somewhere that states they don't do takeaways.

Great spot for a breakfast or light lunch. Very handy for walking on the wetlands, visiting Julian's Bower and the beautiful little village of Alkborough.

Live locally. Called by Sunday morning. It was quite busy anyway and then a large group of cyclists landed but thankfully we were before them in the food queue. Food was delicious, the staff were all very busy, and despite the demand placed upon them they were very polite and well…..lovely. Nice atmosphere. Tables laid out well, not crammed in, decent and very clean toilets. The food is cooked/prepared freshly so there can be a short wait but that’s fine. It’s worth it.

Ordered the farmers' breakfast, top notch! Came with 2 quality sausages, 2 thick cut bacon, mushrooms, beans, 2 hash browns, plumb tomatoes, 2 perfectly cooked fried eggs, and a round of toast. Service was excellent and prompt, great value for money for the quality on offer.

Plenty of seating both inside and out. Very pleasant and chatty staff. A small menu which usually equates to well cooked and this cafe is no different, excellent scrambled eggs on toast, bacon and sausage sandwiches. Members of the group also sampled, the scones, vanilla slices and bakewell tart which I'm assured was better than anything from Bakewell. I would highly recommend you seek out this hidden jem you won't be disappointed.

Had a great experience at the paddocks tea room on our visit to Alkborough after exploring the village, alkborough flats and Julian bower. The salmon and cream cheese bagel was what I had for breakfast and it was amazing.
