Exactly the sort of place I was looking for, friendly, good food and good choice of drinks. Good portion sizes as well! Was nice to sit up on the bank side with a drink, will be going back again.
Barry is great, we stayed for 2 nights. Breakfast is amazing, evening meal very good. Lovely sitting on the benches on the river bank enjoying the views. Decent car park.
The Jenny Wren Inn is a really nice place. We recently celebrated a birthday meal. The choice of food is enticing, the meals we ordered were freshly cooked and very tasty. The staff was attentive and accurate. A really nice evening, thank you .

They didn’t had vegan options for breakfast but nicely they found us some alternatives. And the coffee was amazing ☕️
My local pub and I don't go in often enough but I'm glad I did, food was delicious and filling! Very quiet at lunch time on a Tuesday for a relaxing meal.
Well what a wonderful evening my friend Debs and I had. Firstly sat on the banks of the Trent , then had a beautiful meal served by very friendly staff. Had a meal which was cooked perfectly. We didn't wait very long, the food came hot and was very tasty. The staff were very friendly, Although they clearly are understaffed, they made sure we didn't wait long to be served. The young girl that served us just put the food on the table and walked away
